CAGiversary!
This got buried in the sticky/merge so I thought it should be reposted so people can actually find the list. This was originally posted by RavenHawk so he deserves the credit.

Thanks to Drakken for the recent update.

Many thanks to CrashSpyro123 for bringing this to our attention!

Thanks goes out to trustcompany1013 also for mentioning this in his thread...guess the sale started a little earlier than expected!

Speculation is that CC may be getting in more games from their warehouses, so don't give up. I personally know of 2 CC's that have the games pulled until the sale officially starts, so once again...don't give up! And ladies and gentlemen, don't forget to tip your listkeeper! *cough*Ikaruga*cough*

That boy sounds disgruntled.

The list says that the Player's Choice version of Pikmin is not on sale. I bought it for $4.99 on Tuesday. I have been to several CC stores in the past few days and I've seen a decent number of them so there may still be some in stock if you hurry.

Don't ask me to account for why some people have not been able to get it at $4.99. I don't know. All I know is that I got the Player's Choice version for $4.99.
Did it have a Player's Choice sticker or a yellow stripe? Sticker means it is non-PC. If it has the stripe that is the officially player's choice version.
It has a yellow stripe. It does not have any kind of sticker other than the CC price tag. It also has the yellow stripe on the spine of the case. The bar code on the CC sticker says "045496960025." I wish I could be of more help.

Billy Hatcher scanned for full-price for me as well when I went last week. Hmmm...
wtf? like 5 people scanned it at full price! what's going on?
Maybe some more games are being added top the list. In other words, more markdowns to compensate for what was sold.

That'd sure be nice, I'll try it again tonight.

that would be great if more got added. Hopefully it would be national and not by store. Guess it's best to check here before heading out sunday morning.

I agree that it isn't fair for a lot of people and I don't think it is cool to buy $2700 in a pop to resell but think about this:

Sales like these don't come along everyday.
Don't expect to show up 5 days after the sale started and walk out with Rez and Disegea.
If you want the games make the effort to be there when they open...then you will have just as much of a shot as that reseller did.

Some people were wondering about the price matching that CC will do if the game is marked incorrectly with a $4.99 sticker. To answer you question, it mainly depends on the manager. At my CC in St. Louis the managers are really understanding and they will mark the price down without much trouble. Other managers you may have to argue with for a little while, but in the end, they'll mark it down because otherwise it is false advertisment (or something similar to that). As far as pulling off little stickers and putting them on different games, I'm not sure. The manager might look into that a little more if only one game that is ringing up as $49.99 has a $4.99 sticker on it. Especially if the sticker is on the outside of the clear protection case.

Another thing... I'm not sure this $2700 game buying spree is true. If those were all $4.99 games then thats over 500 games. To take 500 games up to the register, it would take about 7 to 10 baskets. This would also mean the associate would have to individually scan 500 items, which would easily take up to an hour. (If each item takes 2 seconds to appear on the screen after scanning and even assuming the person ringing out had an incredible average of 5 second for picking up the next game, removing the protecter, and bagging the game this would still take 7*500 seconds, or 58.3 minutes) Not only that, but the computer systems only allow for 100 items per receipt so the associate would have to start up 4 new sales (charging the customer the amount after each one) once the first one was full. This alone is highly unlikly to happen, but the purchases would have to take place in many different stores because none of them were stocked that well to begin with. Just to give you something to think about.

Add the following game for GC:

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

...not a bad pickup considering my nephew's bday is tomorrow and I haven't picked up a gift yet :).
really? i just scanned that 2 days ago and it was still full price...
I scanned it to at full price.
I don't have the ability to scan my receipt, but sure enough, it was in the 4.99 bin and rang up for 4.99.

But then again, this game was not in the bin yesterday or the day before, or the day before. I've been going everyday, religously :)

Billy Hatcher scanned for full-price for me as well when I went last week. Hmmm...
Must be a case of YMMV
Billy Hatcher scanned for full-price for me as well when I went last week. Hmmm...
If anyone lives in Baltimore, MD - there was 1 additional copy of Billy Hatcher left in the 4.99 bin at the store I bought it from (Timonium, MD).

I wanted so desperately to get into this deal since I have not found one game. I was going to get Barbarian, but instead left it there and went to target and found one last copy of la pucelle for 19.99 and bought that instead. So i guess it wasn't all too bad.

Ok, finished adding everything from the scanned lists. Now all I have to do is go back through the last 5 pages of posts and figure out what still needs to be added from there.

Try and hurry up. I'm going to go to Circuit City in a few hours.

Benh2006, I'm in the St. Louis area and heard this story from multiple people about this major asshat. He went into the St. Peters/Mid Rivers Mall store on either Sunday or Monday and cleaned them out of $2700 (heard it was first $2200 on Monday, though $2700 came from one of the CC reps over there who I spoke with yesterday). He also did similar things to the other stores in the area, at least the Chesterfield store. From what this guy did, the stores in the St. Louis area (at least this came from one manager @ Chesterfield) limited it to 1 copy of a title per person. As I was only buying 1 copy for myself, I wasn't worried. Though, when the stuff I really wanted like Secret Weapons, Resident Evil, Ikaruga and Viewtiful, and I couldn't find it at any of the stores, I'm sure this guy had more than a little to do with it. Plus, they freely admitted he was saying he was going to resell them, which means they shouldn't have let him hit the door, as that's being a dealer and most places frown on/disallow it happening.

I certainly don't doubt what you're saying and the numbers don't seem to be way out of line, as I've seen the whole process numerous times this week, though I know I've heard the story of this jackass more than once, in more than one store.

I've made my rounds to all of the stores in the area, dug through the shelves and bins, and had all the very nice people at all the stores scan everything before I went to a register to make sure I was getting the right stuff. I found out about it on Sunday and went to at least one store a day every day since.

The annoying part is that they should have done a 1 copy of a title per person from the start, if they have a ridiculous amount of games to buy.

I just got back from the Mobile, AL store and when I went inside they had a big cart with about a hundred or so games, and every one was one the list but the lady working there told me that they wouldn't be for sale till Sunday. So I know for sure my store's going to have a bunch of games, so I'm going to be waiting probably a half-hour before they open.
Not only that, but the computer systems only allow for 100 items per receipt so the associate would have to start up 4 new sales (charging the customer the amount after each one) once the first one was full. This alone is highly unlikly to happen, but the purchases would have to take place in many different stores because none of them were stocked that well to begin with. Just to give you something to think about.
Actually it's closer to 25-30 items per ticket at my CC. I don't have a reciept in front of me but I had to be rung out on two tickets becuase it maxed out. :)

Also I would disagree on the total number of games at each CC, I'm sure they all differ, But I could have easily bought 500 games, if picking up dups, had I really wanted to. :D

I've bought well over 50 now, and I have passed up a TON of games, different titles, maybe 250-350 at my store, pick up 2-3 copies of some games wouldn't be very hard to buy 500 games, having $2200+ to spend on them all that's another story..

Billy Hatcher scanned for full-price for me as well when I went last week. Hmmm...
If anyone lives in Baltimore, MD - there was 1 additional copy of Billy Hatcher left in the 4.99 bin at the store I bought it from (Timonium, MD).
Look at yoour Hatcher. Does it have a bare upc or a sticker on the back? Do you recall if thy =scanned the game or the sticker.

I just went to the CC at the Christiana Mall in DE> When you ring the rear UPC Billy Hatcher comes up for $20.

On another note, I talked to a redshirt. I thin k this is scuttlebut, but according to him thay're going to change some of the games so that way they still have something in stock for Sunday. Billy Hatcher may be one of those. Maybe your CC changed early and that on Sunday Hatcher will be $5 nation wide.

I got back from the Boise, ID store. They had four cardboard bins with games in them, but there wasn't much left other than sports games. There were quite a few titles on the shelves still marked at their full prices that were on the list, though. The CC employee in the video game section was really understanding and scanned stuff for me with no problems.

I got (not very impressive, I know)

Frequency
Wrestlemania XIX
NFL Blitz PRO
Jet Set Radio Future

i was also in the mid rivers mall store and this whole story has been blown way out of order. It was $1,800.00 to start off, and that's according to 2 different people at the mid rivers mall CC.

i went back on Monday while they were putting a bunch of new games in a bin. shrike, were you wearing a blue blimpies shirt on Sunday? i talked to you if that was you!

anyway, so many people have been bashing people for coming in and buying the whole store, when in reality it just isn't true. sure, they buy a bunch of games, and in some cases they clean out a title or 2 that you wanted. but has anybody actually seen a person do this? have they asked them if they mind that you trade a copy of game x, or maybe if they have 10 copies of "secret weapons" (which btw, wasn't in stock in the mid rivers CC) that you could maybe snag one? sure, they could tell you to go to hell and they are gonna be driving a Lexus by the time they finish ebaying all of this stuff off, but if that's the case then the worst thing that has happened is he's said no.

I'm going on Sunday for the games, not to ebay them and make money, i'm going to get some cheap game to play, if i have to beat the shit outta some guy for a copy of RE, then maybe i should rethink the situation, and maybe you should too. so now, tons of people will reply saying "I wAS aT (insert store here) aND tHIS Guy bOUGHT $750,000 Wroth OF gAMEZ"

all i'm saying is it's the weekend, this thing should go smooth and should be a happy experience, that's all.

just my 2 cents

See, Bill Gates strikes again!
tried to buy Kelly Slater (GC) today and it rang up $14.99.
I tried to buy the same title on sunday, and that's what it rang up as.

On monday I figured it out, came back, and asked the cashierette to scan the original barcode and not the "value game" barcode - and joy of joys, it came to $4.99.
Who is the person who bought over $2700 worth of games. . .seriously. . . I want to know who it was. . . .I saw a post where someone mentioned the person was "listed as a reseller" . . .how did you find that information?. . . .and to all you other pieces of s*&^ out there who raided all the stores so that you could resell for a profit . . . .F YOU!!!!!!!. . .I would love to meet you people so that I could kick each and every one your asses!!!!. . . .There are those of us who barely have any money and this is such an opportunity for CAGS to take advantage of a great deal on very expensive games and you f'ers have ruined that chance for many of us. . . . .ROT IN HELL you f'in fag****. . . .delete my post I don't f'in care. . .you know that I'm right and speak for the majority of us out there. . . .and I seriously want to know who bought over $2700 worth of stuff. . .don't be chickens and not post the answer. . . .
Isn't it funny how the same people who condone violence (towards people trying to make a profit, no less) are the homophobic ones?

Just to let everyone know,

my Circuit City was selling off 2 copies of Mortal Kombat 5: Deadly Alliance (Greatest Hits) for 1 PENNY! They were both promo copies (with do no resale on the front and disc) but its the full game, with full artwork, and instructions.

Just a headsup :)

I made my sixth trip to CC today. I picked up Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance this time.

I do have a title or two to add to the list:
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Xbox)
Kabuki Warriors (Xbox)

Edited to add:
They also had the PH version of Bloodwake marked at $4.99

You lucked out finding those. But some people still find Clone Wars Tetris bundles.

I have a list ready for this sunday and im gonna be at my CC at opening time. My list comes to about 150 worth of games but they might not have them all.

I was at my CC earlier today, and there wasn't a SINGLE game on the list that I saw still in the store. I'm hoping that all of the games were placed in the back untill Sunday... If not, I just missed out on possibly the biggest deal in CAG history.

I peeked at another list from a CC I hadn't been to yet when I went today. They had a whole bin full of games, which makes me wish I had gone earlier. I still scored Legends of Wrestling II for GC and Space Channel 5 for GBA. I was going to ask for a copy of the list like I had at the other location, but it's so late now that I don't think it's even worth it. Everything is pretty much gone now :whistle2:(

well, this might not help a lot of people. but i just thought that i'd let anyone that lives around the san francisco bay area, that happens to be looking for maximo...there was about 15+ copies of it at the Emeryville circuit city (they say greatest hits but it's the greatest hits "sticker" so it is still technically the original, that's why i don't think a lot of people bought them)...they had a few other titles lying around too including a few copies of 007: agent under fire (ps2, gc, don't know about xbox) among a few other so-so titles...

Question for CC employees, do you guys generally restock on Saturday night to prepare for Sunday morning? Will the games be stocked and ready when CC opens on Sunday morning? It will help us CAGs to find out when the games will be ready. I live 30-45 minutes away from the nearest CC, and I hope I don't get there Sunday monring to find out the games weren't even stocked yet.

W0rd, im going with a list on sunday as soon as they open praying that I will get the games I want, im even bringing two friends to help me gather up everything.

I was just at one of the CC's in Vegas and they had nothing of value. A couple of Lord of the Rings : Fellowship, a couple of Shreks, a few Scooby Doos, and a couple of Mojos.

Nothing exciting at all.

You're the dude from Macon huh? ;)

I bought one of those LOTR tonight, I passed on the Kabuki Warriors :p

Someone mentioned LOTR the other day, although I don't see it on the list. :?

Also I bought,

Superman: Shadow Of Apokolips (PS2)

Advance Wars (GBA)

Commandos 2: Men Of Courage (X-box)

Those aren't on the lists yet..

And I saw Bionicle (GBA) in the clearance bins.

I think it's safe to say pretty much ANY of the older PSX games, ALL the DC, & N64 lol, they should come up on clearance..

I picked up Alundra 2 & Vampire HUnter D the other day, CC hasn't pulled ANY PSX games thou, maybe 1 in two different bins. It's basically only PS2, X-box, GC, & GBA stuff.

And has anybody had problems with ATV Quad Power Racing 2??

I tried it the other night & it came up regular price. :( It was not any sort of "value bin" game AFAIK..

Don't bother trying today, I did earlier and it rang up 19.99

I went to CC today and they didn't have jack shit. The only thing they had in the Xbox section was NFL 2K2, Dark Summit, and NBA 2K2. My CC sucks.
