Speculation is that CC may be getting in more games from their warehouses, so don't give up. I personally know of 2 CC's that have the games pulled until the sale officially starts, so once again...don't give up! And ladies and gentlemen, don't forget to tip your listkeeper! *cough*Ikaruga*cough*

is their any way i could get the copies for these games, and u can add onimusha and robinhood defender of the crown to the list as i have those receipts.

Out of all my years of flea market/garage sale searching.....this was the only Neo Geo type item I've ever come across.

The lady vendor had the games spead out on a table..
I didn't take my usual route and decided to start at her end..her stuff was the first I found..
I literally Shit myself. :p ..I've never seen anything like this in the wild before.
She was the first and last vendor I hit that day..I was out of there quick.
I scooped up all the games like a crazy person when I saw them..I didn't even see the system in a bag behind it.(until she said something)
Someone had told her they wanted it earlier then they went to an ATM...(As she said)
They didn't come back....before I got there...
If I would of took my usual route I would of missed out on it.
She also had a decent amount of Sega Master System games that I picked up...(grabbed a few that day/then the rest the week after)

I had found my find of the day/week/yr...Plus being into the Neo Geo this was ever so sweet.
I didn't haggle the price either like I always do..She said $100..I gave her the money and took off.

Baybrook/Houston CC has put stickers over almost all of the "good" (non-sport) titles, making it incredibly difficult to talk the cashier into giving it to you for $4.99.

They also supposedly had two copies of the magical $4.99 Mario Kart, but I couldn't find them. The cashier said, "I dunno... must be stolen or in the back or something." My hero.

Same here in CT. A bunch of games that were on the list now have new UPC tags on them - you can tell because they say something like Value Game on them.

As a matter of fact, two games, Legends of Wrestling and Freekstyle both had the same UPC code on the new sticker that covered the old UPC.

Oh well, thus ends a great deal - though there may be some stuff that they missed, but it looks like they were pretty thorough going thru the stock in my local CC.

Sigh...
 
What good is a scanned reciept if all the CCs are out of stock? Won't BB or TRU just call CC and find out they are OOS therefore preventing you from PMing?
 
Is anyone interested in trading games? I got a bunch of titles for Xbox and PS2 and I'm thinking of returning the ones I won't play. There were other titles I missed out on that I really wanted, like ESPN NHL 2004 or Crazy Taxi 3 or DOA Beach Volleyball. It could be cool to start a "Want To Trade" thread if others are interested.

does anyone know for sure that dynasty warrior 4 is $4.99, at my CC, i checked 4 times with 3 different copies the whole week and it scanned up $29.99 :(

DW4 for PS2 is $5, the one for XB is still $30.
 
Anyone here from the VA area? The stores here won't accept receipts unless it's from VA. I'd appreciate it if someone would post/pm their receipt scans if you're in VA.

Has anyone PMed using a scanned reciept? Even if they did accept it they would just call CC and find out it's OOS. Check the thread titled 'PMing at BB' (or something like that). There are a few reciept scans there.

yeah i checked the other thread and only one of the games I wanted for $5 was on the list. :whistle2:/
 
I ended up only getting 3 games today: PSO v1&2 for Gamecube, Grandia Xtreme for PS2, and Drakan for PS2. Monster Rancher 3 rang up $20.

I then took those three games, traded them in for $47 in trade-in, and got NCAA Football 2005. Total price: $20.

I then went to Target and paid $20 for La Pucelle :)

Where did you get them? CC? If so, you got very lucky to find PSO 1 and 2. Congrats on that.

i was referring to the PS2 version and it still rang up $29.99

You could have gotten a lot more than that for PSO alone on eBay.

I called them yesterday and they said they have to have an ad in order to PM. I wish I could PM and get Disgea because my TRU has it. :x

Long story short, a manager-in-training at the Baybrook/Houston EB Games was incredibly rude about pricematching, even though we were VERY nice about it and even had another EB Games receipt doing the very same pricematch.

Also, the BB in the same area said they would pricematch, but one catch: they didn't have any of the games! =P

Yaeh I wish it included the Guncon2 with it. I'm now trying to locate one for cheap and some other guncon2 games like Vampire NIght, Time Crisis 1 and 2. Does anyone know i fResident Evil: Dead Aim and Dino Stalker are any good?

Yep, this was the Circuit City in Waco, and all three were on the shelf, and not in the box, and all were marked $29+. Thanks to CAG for the list, without which I wouldn't have grabbed those three.

Perhaps, but I'm less interested in making a profit on games than I am in getting things I want cheaply. :) I definitely don't feel cheated at all, especially since I've got my own copy of PSO GC sitting here too (bought a good while ago).

That was everything, and it's a shame I got there too late. However, as I was looking through the normal PS2 sheleves, I found a copy of Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution tucked away in a corner behind some Cat in the Hat games. I hadn't been able to find this game anywhere except Ebay, so I bought it for $20. :shock:

the release of VF evolution has always been a greatest hits and i don't know how you could not find a copy of it anywhere. I see 20 copies of these everywhere I go as much as I see other greatest hits.
 
CC $4.99 sales is officially over, I went yesterday and found some titles that were in the 4.99 list. They are no longer 4.99, the price have bounced back to 14.99 and 19.99

On the other topic, *transworld snowboarding* is absolutely horrible, the graphic is so bad, I'm thankful I only paid $5 for it. MVP baseball 2003 is pretty decent (but I wouldn't have paid more than $5 for it). These are all for XBOX. I wonder if *All star baseball 2004* is any good -- I got that one first but exchanged it for MVP because one site gave ASB'04 a 7.7 and MVP'03 a 8.1
 
Well, I'm gonna try my luck today to get a PM for Disgaea. I'll use Big Nick's reciept, although I'm not too confident it will work (I live in Orlando, FL) Anyway if it does I would be so grateful that I would only buy two copies of Disgaea at most.
 
Checked CC in Wilmington DE this morning. Cart has crap. 20+ jumppacks and around 10 spiderman promotional packs but no game. I did luck out though. In the bin was one copy of Maximo for PS2 with a $5 price tag. Picked it up.
 
If the sale truly is dying/already dead, then we can call this the CAG Deal of the Year, because I got over 10 games for less than 70 dollars, and that is truly amazing.

I just wish I would have gone one last time, but the games I wanted wouldn't have been there anyway.
 
Just got back from the CC on Sahara here in Vegas. They're down to a few GBA games, a few PS 1 games, and mostly older sports titles for Gamecube and PS2 - no Xbox games left at all.

Although if you go over to their clearance area (not the $4.99 bin) you will find Monopoly Party and Zapper for Xbox. The last two $5 Xbox games left, I believe.

Of the 10 games you got, are they all enjoyable? I got 4 games, 2 are decent for me (50% satisfaction =). I got (all on xbox):
- mvp baseball 2003
- kelly slate's surfboarding (I think)
- wakeboarding unleashed
- transworld snowboarding

So the last three titles are basically the same in a sense.
