"The Replacements" - Madden 10 Fantasy League Season 3; Super Bowl

wow what a game. I can say im very happy with my team. as we won 41-14 there offence never scored. They ran back a kick (my fault) and ran back a int.... I threw three picks in the game two of them were at the end of the game and I just wanted to run the score up lol. On of my main WR's got injured on the third play and was out for the game. The back up did a ok job but would have liked more backup support. this season has started great for the 2 owners of the NFC WEST!
 
Lovin my D. Though I'm a little upset that my run D was slightly suspect. I have a feeling it was because I was playing pass most of the game. Forced 4 fumbles in the first half, it felt like every time the other team got the ball in the 1st quarter it was coming loose. This team hits hard, watch out!

Stats of note:
Gore - 150+ rush yards, 3 TDs
Revis - 2 IT, 1 INTD
 
I'm hesitant to offer this since you were around for the draft but you can't play otherwise. If anyone objects please say so this evening.

I can't really see why anybody would object to letting me play. I don't care if the LG has an OVR of 1, I just need one. The guy I have playing is a 74 (he's a RG) so I just need one for technical purposes. I missed a TON of my picks because the CPU system sucks.

I sympathize I'm pretty sure you gain no advantage with a 60 LG...lol
 
Well, yeah. If Azu is just needing a LG to fulfill the minimum position requirement, but is going to play a RG there anyway, just give him the lowest LG available, and take away the lowest rated player on his team (provided it doesn't put him at a different disadvantage). Honestly, if the CPU made a lot of his picks for him, it SHOULD have taken care of this itself. But what do we say kids? "It's just EA being EA. :D"

Stupid draft system! Hopefully it gets touched up next year.
 
hey so that list on the first page is updated right, so i can choose between a NFC south, north, or east team ? Assuming Seen allows me to join ?

I had to leave the draft for a bit after I had already drafted all my starters, including a kicker and punter, and the CPU almost immediately drafted me a backup kicker AND a backup punter right away, when there were a ton of solid backups available still for real positions.

The NFC East needs someone else, I'm feeling lonely. I think I only have 3 human games the entire season.
 
So does Azu in the NFC South. I figured this up the other night, but didn't think it was relevant to post since there were still spots open. But maybe it will help new members when joining.

Games Against Human Opponents
Bucs - 3
Giants - 3
Lions - 4
Bengals - 5
Dolphins - 5
49ers - 5
Raiders - 5
Rams - 5
Bills - 6
Broncos - 6
Browns - 6
Titans - 6
Colts - 7

Obviously, this correlates to the three openings in the NFC North, South, and East. Adding a team to any of those divisions would give the Bucs, Giants, or Lions 2 more games against human opponents. It's pretty much common sense, but having 2 teams in each division would basically even out the schedule for everyone.

Like I predicted, my pass defense is terrible and my offense is off the charts. Luckily, manually controlling my safeties helped a little. It's so easy to spread the ball when you have Cotchery, Burleson, and A. Johnson on your team. I love it. Heck, my third string HB (who filled in for injured McGahee) had a long run in the 4th Q.

SoulReaver, sorry I haven't been in touch. My Gold ran out, and I won't be able to get a new card until tomorrow at the earliest. If somebody has a 48 hour trial I could have, that would be great. If not, I guess I can leave the league, and rejoin under my brother's GT until I get my new sub.

Hey n8, since you'll be my opponent for week 2, let me know when you can play. I *may* be available tomorrow throughout the day, but otherwise I'll be available most evenings (except Wednesday).

Its sad, I have 2 human opponents in a row, then 1 more for the rest of the season :(
 
Hey Shiryuu, noticed we have each other for week 2. When do you wanna get our game in? I have shows tomorrow night starting at 8 and most likely will be doing my card tournament match over on another site around 10 (best of 3, not sure how long that may take). There's also a possibility I'll be out job hunting one of the upcoming days (dad's off the next two days and might force me out either tomorrow or Tuesday). Other than the uncertainty there (and the monday night commitment), I would say anytime after 3pm EST works best for me.

OMG... if this is a league of communication then can we please get a response to this. Hes been asking for admission for 3 pages so far and I don't see how hes been overlooked on this. If no one wants him in please just say it and stop letting him hang waiting in the wind. Ive even asked for a response on this twice and still nothing. thank you.

Reading all of his posts gives me a headache. Further anthem85, if you are having issues with how I run this league and have been running this league since season 1; I encourage you to play elsewhere, if you have a personal issue my inbox always has room for a pm.

I don't know when the next deadline is, but we can try Tuesday night or Wednesday afternoon/night.
 
Come on, seen. This is getting a bit ridiculous. We need players, we have someone who wants to play that has been reliable in the other Madden league, I don't see what the hold up here is.

I wasn't going to say anything before since I assumed you were busy, but if you have time to response to Anthem about it then you have time to give Grand Cru a response.
 
You don't get much more reliable than Grand Cru. Who cares if his spelling isn't immaculate? He's damn good at getting games done.

And if he'd take the Panthers like he does in my league that'd be awesome because I need buddies in the South :p

Along with being busy with other things this past week, I've been having trouble today getting the damn EA site to load so I can record the players of interest on the available teams. The OP is now up-to-date with all available teams.

Seen my post wasn't one of negativity... it was frustration. I don't know where you come from with me having problems with how you run this league as in season 1 I thanked you when we played... also I believe this is everyones league. Its everyones that plays in it. Yes You run it but I think everyone should have a voice on matters that relate and effect everyone. Thats why were owners of teams that play in the league. I do not believe you should take it personal on what I requested as it was not ment to be that way. But when someone is asking for something for so long and no one will say anything, then yes Im going to say something. Its only professional to give someone a response in a timely manner. None of it is personal its just the right thing to do.

Now people posted after me issuing the same points I did in my post I did and you even thanked one for there words. So If you have the issue with me I also have a PM box. Ive done nothing but try to be a good sportsmen and been excited to be here and playing.

Let Grand Cru take over the Redskins (who have already played their week 1 game, so that's one less thing to worry about) and let's move on with our lives.
 
hey Azu i just read that you wanted me in the south, i would have enjoyed joining down their but those two teams left didn't look that good from the players that was listed on the front page of this thread, what players are on the Saints though ?

Yeah, dad just talked to me a little bit ago asking me what I'm doing about my unemployment situation. Looks like I'm forced to go out tomorrow. We can play that night, but I don't know when I'll be back home. No later than 10 (I would have to assume), but don't know how much sooner I'll be back home before then.

An offsides penalty on 4th and long killed me on his last TD drive. It was 17-14 prior to that TD. The worst part was that it wasn't even the guy I was controlling that got the flag.

I'm still getting to know my team. I'm not sure Brandon Jacobs fits into my play style, so he may be on the block before long. Vick is an ok QB, especially for me as I like to scramble. He broke off a couple long runs, scoring on one.

Also, anyone want Randy Moss? Looking to get a lower-rated WR in return, preferably a good, tall possession receiver + a DT or CB with good ratings

Are you sure? When the accept/decline came up, I'm pretty sure it said if you declined it, it would be 4th and 1.
