"The Replacements" - Madden 10 Fantasy League Season 3; Super Bowl
How was the Super Bowl experience Azu?
Unreal. Were were in the same section as the CBS broadcasters, so I went down to the front of the section and I was about 20 feet away from Shannon Sharpe, Phil Simms, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher and ahhh it was just amazing.

Yes! Seen when are you available over the next couple days? I'll be snowed in tomorrow so all day then and Thursday day until 6.

GG for Azumangaman, but this was the worse madden game I have ever played online. Our first game disconnected before kickoff and the second was laggy beyond belief. all of my kickoffs were short and field goals missed because of the lag on the kicking motion. I call for a fair catch but it doesn't register and I fumble and he returns it for a touchdown. Every other pass had a delay after I pushed the button. I just couldn't get over the laggy controls and he did so props to him and good luck in the superbowl. I'm not saying I would have won otherwise but lag just made this game way to frustrating for me.

Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. I'm pretty sure it was on my end because there is a storm coming here and it pretty much never stops snowing.

And, unless I bomb my match against the CPU, I'll be headed to the Superbowl. It kind of feels cheap that I'm not playing against BigAT, since its pretty obvious that he'd get into the Super Bowl. I think I've played him 4-6 times over the last couple years, and there have been tons of close games, but I've always come up short.

It's not your fault. Lag is just 10X more frustrating in a sports game, especially online leagues. At least in a FPS, the round starts over and everyone is over it pretty quickly. But sports games, you get 20 minutes in and it just pisses you off because is you start over theres no telling when it will work.

Plus my team is the Lions so that just fits with curse of Bobby Layne anyway. Good luck.

gg seen. you held my offense more or less in check, those 2 pick-sixs just killed. I can see you definitely missing Rodgers out there, neither of those guys have any sort of accuracy.

Azu, I await you in the Super Bowl!

The Raiders get wiped without their starting QB. Since week 8 of the season the Raiders have been without their starting QB Aaron Rogers forcing his backups P.White & D.Anderson to make big plays. Unfortunately in the H2H games these amateur backups could not rise to the occasion; especially for the Conference Championship throwing a playoff record 6 INTs and unable to throw a TD.

Congrats to ubernes, we've definitely had our share of close games but I just couldn't get moving without a QB with decent accuracy.

Azu please play your game this evening.

Seen, looks like we're good to advance.

Azu, when can you play? Tomorrow day I should be available, 1 to 6 pm est. Sunday similar, probably later then too.

Hey ubernes! I've been in Olympic mode so I didn't see this.
I can play anytime tonight (hopefully around 11:30 onward) or sometime early Sunday, or very late Sunday.

I'm out now but tomorrow works. I dunno what early means to you. 1 pm est? If not then pick a late time Sunday, I'll be up late.

Hmm, I'm thinking around midnight is probably best for me. I'm also free in the next couple hours, but I'm not too sure when a friend of mine is coming over but I'll almost certainly be free after midnight.

Now? Just woke up I can hop on now.

Edit: I'm on now and will be for a couple hours, so just invite me if you can do it. If not see you at midnight.

Your 2012 Super Bowl Champions: The Cleveland Browns!

After LeBron James left for the New York Knicks a year and a half ago, the people of Cleveland have been searching for hope in it's desolate and depressing streets. The city will finally find that this Friday when the Super Bowl Champion Cleveland Browns throw their victory parade.

The suicide hotlines were lighting up after the Browns looked to be literally handing the game to the San Francisco 49ers. Star QB Matt Ryan threw 2 interceptions to start the game to put the Niners in position to take a 14-0 lead at the start of the 2nd quarter. It only got worse when Joshua Cribbs gave fans a glimmer of hope on a great punt return, only to fumble it.

Mr. Ryan was not having it, however. With over 60 TDs under his belt this season, he figured he just might have a few more in him. With 2 minutes to go in the 1st half, he sent the Browns into halftime with the score tied as he threw for 2 quick TDs. He ended the game with a 79% completion percentage, surpassing some guy named Joe Montana and leaving him only behind Phil Simms' 88% from Super Bowl XXI.

The team came out of the half roaring. Brian Orakpo had a key interception and Ryan capitalized on the field position, throwing his 3rd TD pass and 2nd to Chansi Stuckey. San Fran's Scobee hit a field goal to start the fourth, bringing the score to 21-17, but that's as close as it got for the NFC Champions.

Ryan hit breakout star Deon Butler for a 43-yard TD. Hartley hit a chip shot field goal with under 30 seconds remaining and Leodis McKelvin sealed the deal with a pick-six with 8 seconds to go in the game. The city of Cleveland can finally celebrate.

(Great game again, Azu. You really had my back against the wall right at the start. And my running game was completely invisible until garbage time. I'm looking forward to see my young WRs improve and drafting some help on run D. Good season all.)

It was a really great game. I have to give some credit to whoever made the 49ers-its a pretty great team.
I think I may be done with this league though. I don't think I played any user teams this season, so unless quite a few more players join the fray next season, I'm pretty sure I'm done. I really only have time for 1 league now anyway :(

Thanks for running a great league Seen!

Congrats to ubernes and thanks to everyone who participated this season and helped it run smoothly.

The 49ers were originally drafted by anthem85 who dropped out early in the season. I'm going to make a post on OS forums sometime this week to see if they have any members who maybe interested. If we can't get at least 6 more to join us then we probably won't continue.

Thanks everyone for the congrats.

I'm going to assume we're not going to be able to continue this league. For those of you interested in still taking on a 2nd league (assuming you're in the official CAG one), I would be more than happy to have any of you join the one I'm currently running. We're about to wrap up our 2nd season in 3 games, but assuming there's no major playoff ramifications I would have no problem sending out invites now. I don't want to hog this thread anymore than this, so feel free to PM me and I can let you know the available teams and any other details on the league.

And thanks to seen for running a great Replacements league. If this is it for this year then I'll be looking forward to it again for Madden 11.

edit: make that 4 games. I dunno how I missed one.
