Sounds promising! I'd almost prefer poor DLC, so I don't go broke.
There may be some killer boxing day deals on RB2, but its already down to $100 everywhere.
I love it. Plenty of tracks but expect DLC support to be poor.
Very refreshing after getting burned out on RB.
DBear, it's just an especially poor receiver with no power and no crossover/bass management.
Ah, I see. One of those old timers - sorry to hear that your better one is messed. Hope ya get it back soon.
@DJ Hero - can't wait to get it. It has been a while since I have put something on my Xmas list that I really want. Question: How is selecting songs managed in the game? Similar to GH? Because the Best Buy demo forces you to play through 3 songs (cannot separately play them).
I also got The Saboteur from GameStop for about $23 out of pocket thanks to some credit and the launch price drop, though I could've had it for less than that if they still took the crappy GH3 guitar for trade-ins.
What was the bet? That NSMBW would outsell CoD:MW2? Come on , even he should've known better than that. It might outsell it in the longrun over the systems lifespan , but first few months of release? No way.
That's almost as bad as Raven/Activision betting that Wolfenstein could outsell Madden by including a full refund for the game.

That was a publicity stunt, not a bet. He knew that they wouldn't have to pay a dime to anyone, so they got some free advertisement and maybe some extra sales out of it.
So I was excited to finally play MW2 on my 360 (I was two days late getting it due to finding out on Tuesday night my apartment office got it, then the office was closed on Wednesday due to Christmas party). I also received a 12 month gold card and bough 1600 MS points. I turn on my 360 and I was greeted to a red light error.
Thankfully it worked after a reset, but my previous 360 gave me a RROD one month before it completely died. Its terrible because my Xbox consoles LOVE to die/break around Christmas time for me. Unfortunately my 360 IS out of warranty (over 3 years) so I'm screwed if it breaks.
I did play Dante's Inferno demo. I thought it was meh at first, but after playing for a while, I really enjoyed it.
just canceled my Bayonetta pre-order for some Dante's Inferno pre-orders (day 1, both systems)
I did too, easiest decision I've made in ages. I don't want to wait for shipping, so I'll camp out at Gamestop on February 10th until they open. That is, if they don't have a midnight sale.

Well yeah , bet was a bad choice of words , but I know more than a few people that have said if they knew about that they would've bought a copy. Someone should have set up a massive viral campaign for that to try and pull it off and see whether Activision would've kept there word. The result would've been great one way or the other.
i think of god of war and devil may cry to be different types of action games. so it's like apples and oranges to me. :|
Same here.
Now I'm in a shitty mood. I was thinking about getting Pixel Junk Shooter and decided to check how much money I had in the bank and it seems got a hold of my debit card info and has been ordering crap. I've never even heard of a site called Kumala168 and I certainly don't live in Burbank, CA. I'll have call my bank up later and deal with this crap... Hopefully I'm not screwed out of money.
Spirit Tracks is getting on my nerves. For some mysterious reason halfway through the second boss fight the game decided I can't run anymore. Then it says I can, then I can't again. And so on. Oh, and engrish returns. ENGRISH!
The Spirit flute is kind of annoying. I just got into the Forst and have to play a song with some afroguy but he doesn't really explain shit to me.
wtf, this Kumala168 site has no contact info at all. So I can't even get in touch with them to try and stop this payment. And my bank says they can't so anything until the merchant actually gets the funds.
So I'm heading back to the UK today for the next 3 weeks, I have a PAL 360 there and can only take a few games back, and they have to be Region Free, here's the games that made the cut.
Ghostbusters
Sacred 2
Blazing Angels 2
Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
MUA 2
Halo ODST
Call if Juarez: BiB
Fuel
Xmen: Wolverine
Red Faction Guerilla
Halo Wars
UFC 2009
COD 4: MW
Borderlands
Dirt 2
Wanted: Weapons of Fate
Brave: A Warriors Tale
Prototype
Dragon Age Origins
Tekken 6
Wolfenstein
L4D2
Only reason I'm taking Brave and Spyro is for cheesemint whoring, hopefully I'll have enough to keep me from getting bored.
