So how did anyone spend 100 hours (in one playthrough) in Fallout 3, pre-DLC? I'm hovering around 40 hours, with only 1 main quest to go, and I've done all but 3-4 of the side quests that earn achievements.
I have to raise my hand to that one. Although, to be honest, I did leave the game running for a few hours here and there, so my real playtru was probably under 100 hours, but not much under it. I just spent too much time exploring every nook and cranny. I would fill up on as much loot as I could carry, go to town and sell it, then rinse and repeat. I had so much ammo and crap that when I started on the DLC, I just breezed thru that stuff and hardly picked up a thing. However, I've still got three of the DLC add-ons I haven't played yet that I'm saving for my second play-thru someday.

Having fun, exploring, taking time and not treating it like a race, walking instead of fast traveling, not looking at any guides, etc.

It's a forgettable distraction.

Dante's Inferno demo was a shameful, terrible mess. I don't know which was funnier, dante's ability to shoot crosses at enemies NES castlevania style or visceral's repeated attempts at shocking you with OMG BARE BOOOBZ

Also i got a 150 hit combo just by mashing square. Great job.

The demo was fine. Not ground breaking, not awesome, but it seemed solid enough to pick up as a GoW-esque action game when it hits Target clearance.

You should've known it wasn't triple-AAA going in, man. So why did you even bother playing it? Just looking for something else to bitch about? ;)
I really enjoyed Bayonetta. It's by the DMC people right? It has the same "oozing style" going on.
Yes. Creator of DMC = Creator of Bayonetta, for sure.

This. Played the demo last night, and it was pretty fun. I'm still questioning the wisdom of sewing a cross on one's chest, though.

I can't wait to read Jerbear's post about DI when it comes out.

"This game isn't bad! I'm having lots of fun with it! It's way better than that PS3 demo I played!"

Just wait until next week when the 360 demo is out.

It's just a shame he's named Dante Alighieri. I mean, wtf?! That means nothing.
Should have been Dan Allen, or Dan the Man.

What about the addition of all the boobs? I can't believe they'd just throw them in there for shock value. It's not like the source material the idea is loosely based upon had artwork with all sorts of naked people...

Pokemon Rumble or some shit is a WiiWare game. I just saw a commercial for it. I realized the Pokemon IP has the money to advertise, but I've never seen any other downloadable game advertise on TV before. Have their been any others? Should I not be shocked about this?

Final thoughts: Finals week sucks.

Yeah, I have no idea how I managed to actually get past the first two duets... still I do like it more then Phantom Hourglass.

I couldn't stand Phantom Hourglass, and this Spirit Tracks is the next Zelda DS game right? Can't imagine it being good if its anything like the last one.

Just started Wolverine a couple days ago. It's a blast.

I support this statement.

Haven't had much time for gaming lately, just some MW2 multiplayer here and there

Well I did explore enough to get the "visited 100 places" achievement, but I'll admit I didn't go through all of the places I found. I guess I learned from Oblivion that most of the places aren't going to have anything special so I don't need to bother. Plus, I can only blow up so many Raider heads before I look for something else to do.

I lol'd.

I don't think I spent anywhere close to 100 hours on Fallout 3. In the beginning, it did seem to take forever, if only because I kept having to go back to town to sell shit. Really, that was the most annoying part of the game and made it more of a time sink than it needed to be since the vendors are only available during the day more or less.

Depends on what Problem you had with the last one. My main problems with Phantom Hourglass was the rolling and the Ocean Temple. They fixed both of those things in Spirit Tracks.

Selling gear is sort of a pain in Fallout 3 but, I mean, you can fast travel and then just advance the time if you need to. I had a pretty set regiment of fast travelling back to Megaton, dropping off gear in my locker at my house, sleeping until Moira's place opened up, selling random crap and fast-travelling back out to where it was. I never timed it but it couldn't have taken more than 3-4 minutes.

EDIT - Unless you're in a big dungeon place, then it turns into an exercise in praying your repair skill is high enough to combine 6 assault rifles into one.

EDIT AGAIN - I randomly started playing XIII on PS2 today. Pretty mixed thus far. The gun play is sort of wonky but sneaking up on people and knocking them out with office chairs is fun. Anyone have an estimate about how long it takes to complete?

I played some Ninja Gaiden Sigma tonight. The first boss is retardedly hard. And white ninjas are a bitch to kill.

Hitting the hay early tonight. fucking finals week is going to be the slow death of me.

Finishing up my first University Application...
Why do you people have to make your applications so hard? I don't want to write an essay on why I want to go into a program.

Oh well, almost done. Three more after this one, but those deadlines aren't until March for international applicants.
A busy year awaits, as I still have to write a personal statement for the UK schools...

Why can't I just be like everybody else and go to school in Canada?
We try to limit how many Canadians can go to school in the US, so the essay lets us pick the least crappy Canadians to let in.
:(
What's with the hate?

Because otherwise the school wouldn't get to talk about its "holstic admissions process" on the brochure.

Hah. I wonder if they even read it. They probably just lie and say that they do.
Besides, for this particular school its on the bottom of their "secondary considerations" or whatever its called.

Couldn't take it anymore.
Bought a new receiver this morning, will be here Thursday!

Now to shop for a couple suitable amps.

Haha, I'm glad you were being sarcastic. I thought you missed the meaning of cocksmas.

It's a shame that DI doesn't come out this month, because it could probably provide enough cocks for everyone to have a merry cocksmas.

It even has something for the futa crowd...kind of...maybe....
hmm Assassin's Creed II for $40.. Decisions decisions..
I hear it's a-ok, but I'd bet you can get a better deal on that sooner rather than later -- how big is your backlog?

Nice where at? I loved it. If you enjoyed the IDEA behind AC1 (not the execution) you'd like AC2.
