new York is fucking cold...
It's just a little chilly

Seems the Overworld is gone in No More Heroes 2. Hearing that kind of makes me a little more interested in the game.

Quite a day indeed.

Maybe this will help.

I love the battle theme from Final Fantasy XIII.

I wish the limited edition FFXIII console came in any other color besides pink.

Well, almost done with DiRT 2, and it is great. Got a few more world events to complete and a dozen or so races and I'll have 100% it.

After I finish that up, I've got Resident Evil 5 on PC to start. Picked it up at Target this evening for $12.
WoW is doing a fairly good job of tearing me away from MW2. And a decent bedtime. :D
It will also do a good job of tearing you away from any relationship that means anything to you, especially sexual, if you give it enough time.

fuck WoW!

GT5 feels a lot different than past GTs.
Way different. Much better, feels more like a car. I like the stock 350Z in the demo more.

Here's a deal. If you promise me you will never post anything like that again, I will stop trying to psychically kill you for posting that.
I dont think I can promise that. That was actually pretty mild in terms of what I can say.

yay for platinuming AC II! (and now need to sell it -_-)

I think I will play FEAR 2 next

Still deliberating if I should open up my Fame Monster Super Deluxe

Damn, I've been trophy whoring lately.
Uncharted 2 is almost done.
Dead Space only has a run on Impossible left.
MW2 only has like 10 spec ops missions left.
GoW only needs a 5 hour run, the max out your levels, and the challenge of the gods.

Thinking about being like 80 years old and playing video games just boggles my mind. I mean, I know there's old people out there that are playing games (like that old granny hardcore) but still. I don't know anyone past their 40s who plays video games more than casually.
Yeah, I'm just in my early 30's and my playing has dropped to be pretty casual. Just hard to keep the interest as you get busier, more stressed out etc. Less free time, and if you're tired it's more appealing to just veg out to the TV or a movie or a book etc. than doing something that requires attention and focus like a game.

And I don't even have kids, a wife (just a girlfriend) etc. to further make gaming tougher to fit in/get motivated to do.
Did you beat U2 before? What did you think of the game?
Coop multi is better than I thought it would be, from my lone round of it.
I still hate deathmatch.
I had some real issues with the single player, but overall, it was a fun, albeit short, game.
Yo Dmaul, Shadow Complex will be 800 points rather than 1200 sometime soon I believe.
One of those weekly deals.
Thanks for the tip. I think I downloaded the demo a while back. Haven't got around to trying it.

I'm nearing the big 30, and I really don't see my gaming slowing down. That's while having a wife and 4 kids. If you want to a pursue a hobby, then you find time for it.

Very true. My declining gaming is much more just waning interest less so than lack of free time. Movies, TV, Sports, Beer, Books, etc. etc. passed gaming on my list of favorite hobbies a few years back.

Gaming just gets less time now as I have less free time and it's the hobby I'm most willing to scale back on as it's probably the one I get the least enjoyment out of these days for the reason noted above. I honestly doubt I'll game beyond the 360.

I wouldn't be posting here anymore if it weren't for being at PC all day (and loving to procrastinate!) and the Off Topic, Vs. and Blu Ray deals forums keeping me checking this site, with general gaming forum as a diversion/my sole source of gaming news.

That's what's happened with me and anime. As my time decreases that's the hobby that I've decided to scale back on. Though I think that has to do with a lack of quality found in that medium these days. Anime conventions feel like funerals for times past now.

Btw, just opened my Fame Monster special edition. It's so beautiful and now I've touched Lady Gaga's hair...

Mine kind of ebb and flow in terms of what hobbies I prioritize. Fall/spring see TV and sports (football and basketball) take up more time so gaming dwindles a bit, and I don't watch as many movies.

Summer I tend to catch up some on movies and games as football and basketball are over, as are most TV seasons. Plus being a professor, I'm less busy in the summer since I don't have to teach--though still work a ton trying to catch on research.

I'll also put more time into gaming when something I really love comes out, or I'm less hectic/stressed at work and have more energy to put into gaming (vs. vegging to a TV show etc.).

I'm similar to that. My interests phase in and out at different times. Especially watching TV. I'll go months without ever watching anything at all, then I'll catch some show and get interested in awhile, which causes me to watch more TV, then that original show will end the season or go off-air and I'll stop watching TV again for a few months. Seriously, I haven't watched a single TV show in about 3 months now. I'm sure that'll change come January, when a couple of my favs return (Lost, Chuck).

It will be hard managing my time this spring, cause there's a ton of responsibilities I've got to tackle, and on top of all that, there's some really awesome games that are coming out that I want to play.

I barely played any console games during my first semester of college. Played The Suffering once, Rock Band once, a couple sessions of MUA2 with a friend, and played through MW2.

I'm done with my exams! Now it's time for some sweet, sweeeeeet gaming.

For the rest of the year I'm going to be playing Assassin's Creed 2, Modern Warfare 2, and going back to my game in Pokemon: Platinum. I don't have much longer to go, I just traded all my heavy hitters from Pearl and am just moments away from the Elite 4.

Yeah, thankfully Mass Effect 2 is the only one that's a true must play for me. I may end up putting it off to summer as I'll be more swamped at work this semester than I was in the fall since I have a new course to prep and teach along with a research project that has to be finished up in the next months.

Add that to having more TV to watch with Lost and 24 coming back (on top of Heroes, Desperate Housewives, V and Flashforward which I've been watching as well as football and basketball) and my gaming time will likely be even scarcer the next few months.

Need to get around to Fallout 3 which has been on the shelf for months as well--that will definitely wait until summer.

Heroes is pretty good this season! Seasons 2 and 3 were pretty bad though.

But nice, disposable TV like Heroes is great for vegging out or watching in the back ground while goofing online, doing laundry etc.--which is what I tend to do after long days when I don't have the attention span left for a game.

Yeah, I don't bother with that stuff. Have shit luck with getting viruses, and the only PC I have at home is my work laptop and I need to keep in clean since I work from home a ton. And I'd rather watch in HD on the big screen (can't hook my laptop up to it for HD--no RGB in and my laptop has no other outputs).
I love Dexter. Watched Season's 1-3 a couple months ago. Will Netflix Season 4 as soon as it's out on Blu Ray.
Ugh, I love that show. Season 4 is friggen fantastic - my favorite season. Watch before someone spoils it for you!

I should be ok. I knew nothing about Seasons 1-3 before watching them a couple months ago. I only know a couple of people who watch it and they won't spoil it for me. And it's easy enough to avoid online.
Started playing Dragon Age Origins...not feeling it, away it goes! Now I gotta sell AC II and DAO.
Really? I can't stop playing Dragon Age. Already on my 3rd playthrough.

idk, im just not feeling it. Seems a lil boring to me. Ill put it down and pick it back up next week and see.

Nearly new thread time. I'll probably end up seeing Avatar soon, I'm not totally convinced by it though.

Playing the Asterix and Obelix game at the mo, it's not half bad.
