I never was a big Doom fan, myself. I liked DangerDoom but that's about it.

Sol.iLLaquists of Sound - As If We Existed

Based on this track, I may need to pick up this album. The beat feels like a beat that Braille (if any of you who listen to hip hop are familiar with him) would use.

Well, DOOM's beats are used on that album with Grimm's mad flows. No pun.
The Roots' Game Theory
heh, I was going to listen to that right after I finish listening to Talib Kweli's Quality.

Great minds think alike;)

Damn, I forgot to say thanks.

Oh yea, I listened to Murs' Murray's Revenge and Quasimoto's The Further Adventures of Lord Quas today, too.

Right now, it's The Postal Service's Give Up.

Saltillo - Ganglion (album) - recommended to me by Mr. Anderson, and damn is it good.

When I'm done with that I'm going to listen to Mos Def's Black on Both Sides

Told ya! I grabbed that Tech N9ne album, but haven't gotten a chance to give it a listen yet. I'll report back soon enough.

EDIT: Forgot to add what I was listening to. :D

Mastodon - Blood Mountain (album)

I can't stop listening to Food & Liquor.

Also, I'm now listening to MF DOOM's Operation Doomsday. I haven't listened to it as much as I have listened to MM...food?.

DMX - Niggaz Gone Started Something

Faith No More - Land of Sunshine

Good song...can't wait for more of their stuff either late this year, or knowing Kalnoky (which is not a bad thing) most likely next year.

Tech N9ne is great. Been loving his stuff since 2002, but for some reason he doesn't get much airplay even though I'd say he has this great mainstream sensibility to him similar to that of Jay-Z (but not exactly on the same level). He did get some play around here a few years ago, but really limited stuff.

Tech N9ne is pretty popular here in Michigan, as he has some ties to the Insane Clown Posse (somehow  ), which are huge in amongst hip-hop hillbillies in Michigan.

That's enough for me not to like him. He could be Jesus on the mic and I wouldn't care to listen, as ICP has the reverse-Midas Touch.
