Why? I never would have realized that, and I doubt most people would have.
It seems that you hate on celebrities simply to hate on them. At least have a good reason to bitch about.
Okay, I realize she probably didn't know, but is there a problem with hating on celebrities just to hate on them?

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, I missed the Video Games Live show that was here a few days ago.

I had no idea it was going on!

EDIT:

Video World Series is going on here soon, I think.
But I don't know what that is.

I'm going to that on Saturday.
Brand?
Price Range?
a pair?
Let me check around.

You can't get Nakamichi head units can you?
I just want a plain looking CD receiver with aux input for mp3 device.

I'll get back to you.

I still need to find another job. I should get on that, but with the luck I've had so far, the fact that none of my connections have panned out, and that even I wouldn't hire me for two months, I'm starting to wonder if it's a lost cause. :whistle2:k

Oh well. Time for lunch and then maybe some Pokémon Fire Red. Misty and her little bitch of a Starmie are going down.

That GameCrazy deal pisses me off. The clerk had no idea what I was talking about, so I'm going to go back, later, with the coupon code.

Went to a carnival yesterday and spent the whole day trying to avoid the carnies. So I pull in to White Castle at about 4 am only to find the place is packed with carnies. Their small hands made the tiny burgers look huge. They were speaking in various languages including spanish, ebonics, and southern accent. I was pretty drunk and really needed White Castle so I decided to face the music and blend in with the carnie folk.

Gonna buy this nice fuel lid for my car.
Fuel-Lid-90-97.jpg

It is discontinued but my specialty Miata store found some more.
$149.95 so I have to wait until next paycheck.
Actually, I'll just order it now.

Damn, really want this too. Actually, been wanting it for years.
I'm glad they still make it.

Love that vintage airplane look it gives the instruments with those lights.
But at $319.00, I'll have to save some pennies for a few weeks.

Done with Ebay, for a long time now, finally =O

It feels so good.

Just have to wait on one last person to get around to paying.

I forget Roufuss, weren't you doing Ebay as a full-time job?

WTF moments while I ran up to CC and picked up VT3 & FF: CT.

Picked up both games at the CC closest to work, where one of the guys in the game section was nice enough to put them aside at the CS desk for me. Bought them, cost was $36.66. :whistle2:s Bit of an odd amount, yes.

Stopped by Hardee's (Carl's Jr for you non-St. Louis types) on the way back to work, picked up some quick lunch. Cost of lunch was $6.66. :whistle2:s :whistle2:s

I guess that's proof for all of you that think I'm the devil. :D

Reading that instantly made me think of the Simpsons' episode where Bart and Homer become carnies.

Carnies built this country-the carnival part of it anyway ... and though they may be rat-like in appearance, they are truly kings among men!"
I guess I'll play that stupid fucking President card game again in Clubhouse.
Have you tried any of the games multiplayer, yet? Playing something like Balance or Takeover against other people is a blast.

And one of my favorites.

Cooder: Well, there's no shame in being beaten by the best.
Spud: But, he didn't seem..
Cooder: [angrily] We were beaten by the best, boy.

I remember, in all my years of cashiering in high school, only once did I have the total end up at $6.66. I remember because there was about a 10 second awkward silence after I said it.

Generic age-related comment consisting of either "Even the devil aint dat old!" or "Yous is old 'nuff to be him!"
I forget Roufuss, weren't you doing Ebay as a full-time job?
Not really a full time job, but something that I could do while I focused on finishing school by taking an assload of classes at a time. I guess, yea, it was a full time job, I think I cleared around 10k when all is said and done, but I didn't really keep records so who knows how much I've made exactly.

I'm just glad it's done... Ebay is great and all, but honestly, it's stressful as hell sometimes.

I don't remember the exact quote but the exchange between Homer and Wiggum about the bribe was hilarious. Also when Bart wrecked Hitler's car Nelson punches him and says "What did Hitler ever do to you?"

Haha, were you buying low, selling high, or just selling off stuff you had?

Not yet. Waiting to clear stamp mode first, then I'll check out wifi.

We used to have Hardee's in the Detroit area but they all got closed down a loooong time ago.
Haha, were you buying low, selling high, or just selling off stuff you had?
I started out selling some high price things... Mario DDR (100 +), MGS 3 Subsistence LE is what paid for my HDTV and 360 (got around $200 for each one with the bonus DVD's from EB), DoA 4 Arcade Sticks (was getting around $100 for those), I sold an assload of Mario Tennis when Sears had it for $25 (sold those for around $50, and my Sears literally had around 10 + copies).

Then later on, I moved into selling my own stuff because a) profitable clearance dried up because everyone was doing it and b) I had way too much shit I never played that I could get money for.

Eventually I made enough to pay off my $2,500 + credit card bill, buy an HDTV and a 360 (then sold the 360 cause it kept breaking), mod my PS2, pay and finish school (got my assoiciates), pay for enrollment and all the fees in my new school, finally break my shitty Alltel contract and pay the 250 + phone bill I accrued when I went out of state (they got me on roaming), get a better contract and a better phone with Verizon, buy some games of course ;), fix my car, and now pay for the move up to NY and still have over $1,000 saved in the bank.

Probably some things I forgot in there ;) But it did good, it's just extremely stressful at times, not really knowing how much you're going to make or when you're going to make it - I've got a real job lined up for me in NY that should work with my school schedule so I don't need to do this anymore (besides, out of my own games to sell ) I went from 1,100 games to about 194.

After shipping, it was $26.66. :whistle2:s :whistle2:s :whistle2:s

Plus, I think I've had a gas station purchase or two that ended up with $x6.66. :D
Sweet, I just discovered a tax-refund check for 57 dollars that I hadn't cashed yet!
Direct Deposit wasn't an option?
We used to have Hardee's in the Detroit area but they all got closed down a loooong time ago.
Getting off the highway on the way back to work, I pass by a Hardee's and a McD's. As I wanted something quick, it was one of those two.

I remember once ringing up a Bob Marley CD.
With all the discounts and sales, etc, the final price was $4.20.

I was reading the prices aloud as I scanned them.
We both got a big laugh out of that one.
She was cute too, and I only laughed after she did so I'd be safe.
