Instead of making a new topic every month I will probably keep this topic going for 2008.

We are currently working on (1). A better system for calculating league rankings; likely, we will not be counting those members who do not make an active trade within one month, but please understand we have taking all your suggestions into consideration to make these leagues better for you.(2) We will be trying to add more diverse leagues in the coming months.

I make my living by selling damn near everything. Its almost all overvalued at some point in time.

I was maxed out before Nights bombed, before Kingdom of Fire bombed, before Sonic Riders and Burnout Paradise tanked. I probably caught an average of 40% off those.

I check for news/reviews often enough that I can also catch the big buying spikes like for CoD4.

I get burned pretty good sometimes though, since I'm always going around thinking that everything is going to tank.

For instance, I think Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, No More Heroes, and Lost Odyssey are going to tank.
The first 2 have the disadvantage of launching late in Jan and are missing those first 2, front loaded weeks since they are counting in Feb. Advance Wars, like Fire Emblem, have never been a massive hit anyway. Lost Odyssey I'm a bit hesitant on, but betting against JRPGs on 360 so far has been a solid bet. Devil May Cry 4 hitting the week before my stunt it further.

Betting against nearly anything on the PS3 seems reasonably safe as well.

Devil May Cry 4 is interesting. Amazon's charts has had the PS3 version consistently well ahead of the 360 version in sales ranking for at least the 2 weeks that I've been watching it. TSE only has the 360 ahead marginally. This is contrary to nearly all the multiplatform data for 360/PS3 games. For Cod4, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Assassins Creed, the attach ratio has been very similar, but total tally coming out 3:1 due to marketshare advantage.

Seeing TSE's current prediction on DMC4 coming close would be quite an unusual precedent. I just dont feel confident enough on which way the correction will happen to bet on it yet

Short the hell out of January Nintendo DS. It won't do 500k, no way. Maybe 400k (MAX)
