Hmm Lots of Pats fans goign on about injuries, as if the Steelers were 100%. Technically, our starting QB is still out (not tongue in cheek).
Seriously, Pittsburgh was missing Chad Scott in the secondary, linebacker Kendrell Bell and pro bowl nose tackle Casey Hampton. Injuries happen to everyone.
Thats not the same level of injuries as the Pats had. Try losing BOTH your tackles, BOTH cornerbacks, and your RB. Injuries are easier to deal with if they're spread out across different positions. You were missing 1 corner, 1 LB, and 1 DT. You can't run the ball after losing both of your tackles and your RB. You can't pass protect after losing both tackles and having a RB that can't block worth a shit. You can't stop the pass when you lose both corners and are down to people like Randall Gay, who wasn't even a starting CB in college.
Losing Tommy Maddox is like losing a broken arm.
