The Steven Seagal Lawman OTT

The Saints game today was ugly. Can't believe the Redskins took them to OT.

EDIT:

Yeah it definitely isn't Romo's fault. He just has no support whatsoever.

I don't really understand onside kicks. Why does the receiving team run in to try and receive it when the entire point is make the ball difficult to receive in hopes of retaining possession? Why not hang back and let the ball fall to the ground without touching it, so the kicking team can't retain?

Unless there's some other dimension I don't know about.

I believe that on a kick-off, once the ball has gone 10 yards it is free game and the kicking team can recover the ball.

nfl.com:

A kickoff is illegal unless it travels 10 yards OR is touched by the receiving team. Once the ball is touched by the receiving team or has gone 10 yards, it is a free ball. Receivers may recover and advance. Kicking team may recover but NOT advance UNLESS receiver had possession and lost the ball.

That is one of the best players on the market that doesn't do Netflix. The picture quality is supposed to be top notch and the load times are supposed to be pretty good.

That being said, it was 85 after bing just a few hours ago (I just ordered it). If you are still wanting it, bing is supposed to be 20 percent on ebay.

Yeah it's just under $100 with bing right now, i don't need netflix through it anyway with the xbox.

edit- Went ahead and grabbed it.

Why did you decide to go from a PS3 to standalone player, Casey?

I was under the impression the triple > the majority of standalone players.

EDIT - if you can get it that cheap and you're positive you have no interest in a PS3, do it JJ.

I never played games on my triple and I just didn't see the point of keeping it around. As far as the quality of the player, it is still a good BD player with some of the best features like wireless and the continued firmware upgrades, but there are players out there with better picture quality. I decided to take the 200 dollar savings and put it towards something like a HT or some more blus.

So what keeps the kicking team from setting up for a regular kickoff and then kicking it ten yards and grabbing it?

Piss poor taste in the average movie goer.

Respect for the other team. Common sense.

Also, TCU vs Boise in the Fiesta Bowl is really a joke to the system. Lets put 2 non BCS conference teams up against each other, instead of pitting one against a Florida and the other against another BCS conference foe. Stupid BS
Nothing, Rocko. That's a legal move.
Indeed.

If you load the sides of the field like they do when they set up for an onside kick, you are more likely to get a player in there to recover, I believe.

It goes without saying, but both teams change personnel groups for onside kicks, with many receiving teams putting their better receivers out there to catch the ball and go down instead of risking a fatass lineman blocker type with poor hands touching the ball and fumbling stuff away.

Should've looked at Best Buy B&M. I've seen their wifi-Insignia Netflix players for $80 open box

Nothing. It is just that if you don't stack your players on one side, there is less of a chance at recovering it and then you just gave the opposing team great field position.

The player he got really is one of the best. I don't know how good the insignia one is, but this is the successor to one of the best players to come out and it really only gets knocked because of its lack of features. Picture quality and audio quality on this are supposed to surpass any player in the same price range.

Last insignia branded product i bought barely lasted a year, never again.

You're not going to notice the difference in quality and the PS3 will likely load discs fasters. The PS3 is still considered top end as far as PQ goes, only being outclassed by high end Oppo and Denon players. And even then, there's very little advantage.

The new Insignias are rebadged LG players, so they're fine.

If I had another HDTV, I would've got the WiFi player last week.

I don't really need the wifi anyway, that player will be about a foot from my router. I am wondering how well the youtube streaming works.
Hey woohoo, if you're around, when is Drake's album supposed to drop? I got a couple different dates when I googled it.
Yeah, March 2010.

I thought SSL would be so bad it would loop back to awesome, but instead it just FAILS more. I might as well be watching cop reruns.
Yeah, March 2010.
Alright, thanks. I saw on some site that Weezy said it was done, so I was hoping the dates I found that pointed at a sooner release were right. That's kind of a long wait, but as long as it doesn't disappoint (Cudi and Wale :bomb:) I can wait.

No problem. I have faith in him but who knows, like you said look how Cudi and Wale turned out. You listened to J. Cole? He's a better rapper than most of these guys, just not as good a songwriter.
i should start looking into first-time homebuyer programs. The task itself seems so daunting. :0(
fuck you.

sorry. reflex.

Such hostility. :whistle2:?

...

ironic that I point that out in this very post... :dunce:

I snatched a Clipse album the other day after reading the review for the new one in this month's Spin. I liked it, but I'm pretty sure I'm too white for it.

Nope, Rocko. I just want you to not be alive.

fuck...I can't find my article on sensory dysfunction anywhere, and have no idea where on google scholar I found it.

I hope there's no issues using the National Autistic Society webpage as a source.
