Okay, since there are so many Twitter-based contests now to win a variety of gaming-related items, it was suggested to track them through a single thread.

As contests change daily, I won't necessarily be listing all the ones I know of, but I will provide CAG users with a list of people to follow, and it can be your responsibility to watch for their giveaways.

While many people enter a lot of contests, I've seen some people lose out on winning a prize because they forget/don't want to follow that persons' account. Your loss. Consider this your reminder.

Also, I left out a few particular people, who are known for some decent giveaways once in awhile, but the ridiculous drama in their regular tweets is something I don't wish to subject you guys to.

Wouldn't it be easier to have contests that don't require using that stupid site? I haven't and won't sign up for it just to be spammed, it's not like I'd win enough to compensate.

Yikes, that makes it worse to see it flooded with XBLA junk. Now I don't feel left out.

Not quite sure what you are referring to. You don't get spammed by Twitter if that is what you mean and you can turn off e-mail notifications. I just check periodically and sometimes get lucky.

Also just want to add that glancing over the list there 360junkies is probably my favorite to follow in terms of worthwhile tweets when there aren't contest. I've learned about a few random things because they posted links to their news items. Others, like Nelson are useful if you ignore the xbox marketing aspects and trixie is pretty cool but she also post a lot of personal stuff too. (from my experience she seems to do a lot of contest though)

i dunno how worth it it is.......i never won nothing from twitter yet, but i still try, so yeah, to the guy hating on it, dont sign up....i wanna win something sometime ever
 
@Abstract360 has a quick contest ending in 15 minutes to win a code for Perfect Dark... Go! Go! Go!

And, in the next 24-48 hours, @Gamergeddon.com should is giving away a code for Konami's recent XBLA title, Puzzle Chronicles.

Nice list, signed up for some of these contests. But twitter is confusing as hell to me, then it blew my mind. So really they will just "tweet" a random xbl code and first one gets it wins.... now I'm sitting refreshing the screen hoping another code comes up...thanks...
 
For you FireFox Users... I would suggest: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/115

I use it and have it custom set for reloading every 2-3 seconds, depending on what I may be trying to get. Saves me having to hit F5 manually, and usually lets you see the codes within 1-2 seconds of being posted, giving you the jump before other people.... assuming you're at the PC watching.

I checked @BusyGamerNews, seems to be mostly German and could find any contests recently.

@ps3attitude looks awesome for news, clean looking site, and giving away a copy of Super Street Fighter IV right now, very cool...added to list!

@GameZoneOnline is all about getting followers, their posts are never related to the [often] odd prizes. Plus, on more than 1 occasion, I've seen certain Twitter users beg them for a prize, and immediately after, they're named as the winner, yet they claim it's random. Sorry, personal grudge, I don't trust them, therefore left them off the list.

They may not have Twitter-only contests, but they tweet about the site-based ones all week long. And in English. :)

I won the fatal1ty giveaway for a 700 W PSU and a lost planet glossy today good pull for a day of retweeting on twitter :D so you can't say that you don't win or your "twitter retarded" XD

Nice outandabout. I won a glossy too, had it sent to US friends' address of course, since I'm in Canada. :) Won their sticker pack as well.

Even with the auto refreshes and multiple windows up I couldn't win any of sega's crazy speed DM's

Great post bdave81! I won a Beatles RB album code off of Twitter so understand the potential. I just followed a bunch from your list, and yourself. Have you thought of creating a Twitter list under your Twitter account with all these accounts and letting people follow it? Of course the downside would be whether it'd lower the chances for the rest of us, but if you're going to the trouble of updating the top post, seems like you have no problem sharing the wealth. :)
 
Just won a Lost Planet 2 shirt recently...WooHoo!

Thought I'd add if you are a fan of the xbox indie games, do some research. If a game comes out that I want, I'll find the developer, follow them on twitter and they usually give away codes. They are given 50 (I think) and there are not near that many sites/publications that review those games, so they end up on twitter.
 
Scored a Lost Planet tee myself, though I'm not in the US, so I give that stuff to a US friend, some of which I get him to send me.

Anyway, just added @ps3node - another 22 followers and they are giving away a Soldner X PSN code!

I've followed so many of these it's hard to keep track who's giving out what. I wish they had a twitter auto poster program where you see like "contest" and it auto re-tweets
