It was rumored a few weeks ago he was going to go to ECW, but most people were like "rofl @ Benoit going to ECW, Benoit is too awesome".

I hate Lashley, but I do not see how anyone could have expected him to lose. Also, Benoit to ECW makes a hell of a lot more sense than Benoit to Raw. ECW needs talent. Raw does not. Benoit will be a main eventer in ECW.

Being a main eventer in ECW is akin to being a jobber on RAW, though.
 
Wow... I see a lot of you have hated the draft so far.

What's wrong with Benoit in ECW? He isn't going to do shit on SD, as the writers there don't care for him. He isn't going to do shit on RAW, as Cena is God there, and Benoit would be buried even more when HHH and HBK come back. So, why not ECW?

At least in ECW he has a chance for a Big Show-esque career revival (before retiring). I hope Benoit wins the ECW title soon, and can give just a shred of credibility back to that brand.

The problem is that creative will just have him job to Lashley to build credability with Lashley.

Vince and creative have invested far too much into Lashley to simply take the belt off of him - apparently their idea of building credible champions is just having them squash big names. You'll see a Benoit / Lashley feud in which Lashley will be victorious, or Benoit will get the belt for a month and Lashley wins it back.

MVP should win... I wouldn't be too stunned to see CM Punk go to SD after this match. Although ECW needed more people badly after losing RVD & Sabu, not to mention they haven't gained much since losing Kurt and Big Show.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Lashley is moved over to Raw officially tonight. Although there's a possibility he's kept in ECW until WM24. Where he'll either be in a ME after winning the Rumble or win the next MITB match.

They need to give Snitsky the ECW title and Mark Henry the World title, then feed 'em to Cena in a hell in a cell match, so Cena can unify the titles. Imagine the buy rate of that PPV.

At least it would eliminate this draft - I mean, why are they keeping this up? They don't have nearly the roster they did when they instituted this in the first place.
