The Ultimate Warrior's wrestling topic
i swear this is the most retarded thing ive ever seen in wrestling
Guess you missed Ric Steiner's promo with Chucky... consider yourself lucky.

You must've also missed David Arquette winning the title in WCW too. :wall:

Then on the otherhand I know you saw Goldberg's existance in WCW, and you don't get much more retarded than that. Name all the other wrestlers that have lost a fight to a car legit, didn't Goldberg break his hand not once, but twice punching cars.

Wow, I turned it off right after the battle royal ended. Looks like I missed what is potentially the least tasteful thing WWE has ever, ever done.

Here's hoping TNA gets Van Dam and somehow finds a way to be some serious competition for WWE.

forget about mcmahon. they killed smackdown. on the one hand, i'm glad kennedy is on raw. on the other, i can't shake the feeling they're going to misuse him. even if he makes it past mid-card, all he can do on raw is get squashed by cena and/or triple h. still, they seemed to be building to a push when he got injured, so maybe they won't end up screwing him over.

also, what the fuck?!

The End?

On June 11, 2007, Vincent uses the WWE Draft on RAW also servce as Vince McMahon Appreciation Night. However, the night turned horrible with a distraught MacMahon leaving the building to drive off in his limbo. But as he closed the door, the limo blew up during the end of the Raw broadcast. Though the cause is unknown, it is likely that Vince may had not survived.
They're trying to pass this off as something legit?

Which is why it's so disgusting to me. I mean, no really thought that Big Bossman was actually riding on Paul Wight's dad's (mom? can't recall exactly) coffin.
Next topic: Vince McMahon Memorial topic hahaha.
I think Demoman wanted to do his topic next... plus Vince isn't really dead.

Don't worry I won't take your topic, I rarely post. I was joking anyways.
Vince Must Be Loving This Shit
Oh of course. Just look at all the random posters this has brought into the wrestling topic! The problem now is how will they address this on ECW? Sucks that ECW is their next show, as that's hardly the venue to handle something like this. Should be interesting to see if ECW draws a much higher rating at the start now as people tune in to see what happened to Vince.
Bah. I tried to post "It's on CNN.com!" but no one bought it. I figured at least Guyver would bite on it.
I wish you would though! A vince tribute topic might be funny... until they reveal his condition tomorrow night on ECW.

Mr. McMahon presumed dead

Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night turned deadly when the WWE Chairman's limo exploded with him inside it at the conclusion of Raw. Mr. McMahon has been presumed dead at the scene in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Continue...

This is one of those things that has potential to be either incredibly stupid on a Katie Vick/David Arquette/Gobbledy $$$$er level, or one of the most awesome angles ever. I'm pretty sure WWE wanted to poke fun at the Sopranos season ending (which I didn't see, but a lot of people were complaining about it on talk radio today) But one thing it did do, is get people talking

On one hand, it'll be good if Vince really does step down and keep off TV. But what are they going to do next week, an Owen Hart style memorial night?

Austin's video made the night for me, cant believe WWE would let him say that, even with the bleeps.

What was with the Jeopardy bullshit? I know they tried to make it look random (and, w/ Raw and SD receiving 4 talents, and ECW 2, it looks *TOTALLY* random!), but what's with the York Foundation computer makin' all the decisions tonight?
Meh. The Boogeyman fits with ECW, and I figured they'd move him after having Mark Henry squash him... but meh.
Yeah, he sure does - maybe he can feud with the Zombie, or when they made DeVito from Da Baldies dress up like a priest and say he was attending his first ECW show that night.
Can ECW refuse the pick and just grab someone from OVW instead?
How about no? Don't fuck up my show, man!
Why do they continue to raid talent from Smackdown? This is ridiculous.

fucking start getting rid of all the people not doing shit on Raw.
Khali? Flair? Masters? Torrie?

Your wish is my command.
I loved it when Styles said, "This is the best crap match of the night!"

Now, I know what kind of "crap" he meant... but I know what he meant.
When did he say that?
Man, they are fucking Smackdown with no lube.
Indeed. This group is about as awesome as a run-in from the nWo B-team (Virgil...uh, Van Hammer? I don't fuckin' remember those goofs).
 @ JBL telling Cole he hopes Cole goes to OVW
Brilliant - that made my blood chill for a moment.
Next topic: Vince McMahon Memorial topic hahaha.

Overall, I'm glad I played through RE2 tonight, as the Claire B scenario really tied the game together. I can't wait to play through Nemesis tomorrow.

As for the draft, I don't see much of it as significant. If nothing else, it's balanced out ECW (one great worker and one bullshit artist), and did what we all thought would be the case - boost Raw and shit on Smackdown. Duh.

Vince McMahon's death - well, knowing WWE, he'll be back on TV sooner than you can say "Summerslam." It's fucking 1000% hilarious for all the wrong reasons (though my admitted initial reaction was "...guh? The fuck did they just do? BWAHAHA!"), but it will ultimately get him offa TV.

Now, let me be clear: you all THINK that Vince off TV is a great idea. Let me put your thoughts in check, if only for a moment:

Don't act like no Vince means good WWE television, folks. It doesn't.

As the physical body of Mr. McMahon remains to be uncovered, perhaps the most perplexing piece to this puzzle is the Chairman’s uncanny, almost clairvoyant premonition of tonight’s grim events. Over the last few weeks on WWE programming, the swaggering, well-off billionaire seemed to unravel right before the eyes of millions. Speaking of a threatening presence that lurked in his foreseeable future, Mr. McMahon even cited the looming of a “black cloud” last week – a cloud very similar to the post-combustive smoke that billowed above his limousine tonight.

So... no body eh? Give Vince some credit for generating quite a buzz, but take it away for putting himself at the front of the storyline again, instead of his superstars.

I really, really hope he returns dressed as Kane. That'd be classic.
I'm going to quit watching wwe for a while.
Same here - this was the final nail in the coffin.

Haha, get it??

I don't give two shits that Vince is dead, as usual Vince puts himself over all the wrestling to be the focal point of his show, rather than the wrestling / wrestlers. Haha, ZL, we always think alike about this stupid shit ;)

Snitsky to RAW, fucking horrible, does nobody remember when he was just a fucking jobber on RAW about a year ago?

I wish I was able to watch OVW, why should Myke be so lucky :(

I think I'm just going to delete this shit off the DVR rather than waste 3 hours of my life.

Well seriously, imagine how much more interesting this segment may have been with Cena blowing up instead!

Actually, I wish they'd do something like that for guys that got hurt.

Example... I have a top heel in the company, that gets hurt and I know there's a risk said individual will get a face pop when they come back. I'm the booker and I don't want this, as I need the guy to be a heel. So, why not run an angle where this individual is arrested before taking time off. Have him threaten someone with a gun and get "locked-up" for a few months, or hit one of the women on the roster and she calls the cops on him. Maybe both storylines are a little too real for Steve Austin, but I'd imagine if you had Ashley out there crying every week because Rey Mysterio beat her up, when he finally came back from his injury he'd get boo'd.

I've thought of a few other ways I'd write people off to rehab injuries, although blowing them up in a limo was not on the list.

I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier: Vince may be OFF WWE tv for the forseeable future, but they'll stretch out the "whodunnit" for MONTHS.

And, of course, the would-be murderer will get a PPV match instead of, say...jail time?

Though if this angle culminates in Coach getting written off of WWE tv by being arrested, then I salute Vince.

Vince *will* remain the centerpiece of all WWE programs for some time to come. Shit.

Now, other thoughts on the show:

Isn't it pitiful to think that we've been conditioned to see Balls Mahoney, and, instead of thinking "hardcore chair-swinging freak," we think "I don't give a good goddamn if they send out Stephen Hawking or Jackie Gayda, I know who's doin' the J-O-B tonight!"?

Weren't the wrestlers surrounding Vince at the end of the show a veritable "who's that?" of professional wrestling? Shannon Moore? Jamie Knoble? FUNAKI!?!?! It's interesting, to me, to see how many Smackdown wrestlers are buried and off of TV for months at a time, with no effort made to push them, or even put them in a fucking match. There were at least 9-10 guys who I saw and thought "they're still with WWE?" Even when so many top guys are out with long-term injuries, they don't get shit. They need to fire all the cruiserweights and retire the title, just so some other promotion can use them. WWE sure isn't.

Also, who were the two dudes sitting outside the building? Looked like Cade and Murdoch sharing a joint to me.

You're kidding right?

Please please please tell me this is a joke, if not I point you to Marc Mero/Chaz/DDP/Goldberg.

Snitsky is on RAW to fight Cena, like I said months ago. After Snitsky looses at 2-3 pay-per-views, it'll be Kennedy's turn to take on Cena.

Well, not sure why a bunch of you are saying the ending is horrible. I didn't expect it, and it makes me wonder "whodunnit?" I thought it was a good ending and obviously has served its purpose by getting a lot of people talking about it. I'm curious as to see what happens with this angle.

I think it has to do with WWE's inability to decide if it wants to be campy television, or if it wants to mimic a sporting event. With MMA, UFC in particular, creeping down their necks on TV and kicking their fucking ass in PPV, you would think that they'd stay away from this kind of phony-ass storyline.

Alternately, I suppose you never watched "Dallas," did you? ;)
