Many grumblings on Private/Free speech radio including GOV't officials who wish not to be named are letting htte public know that the UN is in stride of taking over/controlling the internet. Did you know Microsoft was hired by CHINA to regulate what can be typed on the internet over their (Democracy, Freedom) are non existant, filters are set up to erase anything that has to do with freedom. Now the UN is trying to take over ALL of cyberspace including TAXIATION on the internet(ebay is a prime example) what can be typed/ and what cant be typed. Any computer hooked up to the internet will be survalienced 24/7.

I myself feel the only place that free spech exist is the internet. If gov regulated the internet including TAXES of ALL ITEMS on the net, would be a huge blow to ouur freedom as AMERICANS.

Anybody else heard of this, from my understanding from listing to the radio, its pretty close to happening.

Political stuff typically goes in the vs. forum.

I don't care if the UN takes over the internet as long as they install a mandatory spelling checker that automatically scans all posts.
Or if they promise to track down all "sooper speling an grammmar jeeniuses" and line them against a wall to be shot.

It would probably be cheaper and simpler to just pull the stick out of your ass.

Anyhow that article is over a year old and a recall hearing a few days ago that we again said fuck off to the UN when it made the request again.

Hehe yes it might be cheaper, but after the initial discomfort, it has settled down and now feels like a part of me.
It also makes it hard to take a post like this seriously when it looks to have been written by a 9 year old with 3rd grade comprehension skills.

You NWO/UN/evil empire superpower freaks make it even harder to take it seriously. The UN is about as effective and scary as a 3 year old with downs syndrome. They can't change the toilet paper in their facilities without a 200 member delegation voting unanimously on it.
I hope you also realize that the UN is made up of member countires and that they dont exist as a power. If the request was made, it was made by certain countires' delegates and thus their evil machinations can be traced back to the country or countries who initally suggested the vote. Blame the delegates who submitted the petition and not the UN itself. Or better yet, blame george bush, it's always his fault.

:edited for grammar nazi reasons, don't want to let my 3rd graders down ;P

You're on a site for video games, I hope to hell you don't take half the things you read here seriously. On that note I think I prefer my status as grade schooler over grammar Nazi.

I'm not worried about the UN as an evil superpower, I'm more worried about it's rules and regulations fucking things up.

You tell him Noodle, the man has done no wrong!

He got those WMDS out of Iraq...

No wait - he learned the lesson from 9/11 and saved the day with Katrina...

I can do this - let me think - he picked a Supreme Court choice that everyone could agree is eminently qualified in Miers...

Screw this - I'm going to quit while America is behind.

OMG the man talks to god, how can he be evil?!?!11/1/1!?!! Don't be jealous ;P
But seriously, I think everything is his fault.

Is there another more offical source for this ... I freelance and would like to maybe write about this for my next piece.

Gee, I didn't even mention that (there is too much to fit in one post)

However you are correct - the man with complete control over the world's largest cache of nuclear weapons also hears voices in his head that he attributes to a Christian god whose commands must be obeyed. Bush also labels other countries as "evil", thereby framing their actions as a product of another god (the devil) whose evil powers must be overcome by the forces of his christian god.

So insightful, I must be jealous because I criticize the current administration. Are you also going to tell me I don't support the troops because I don't support the war in Iraq, or that I am evil because I don't vote in a block with the Christian right?

How about the secret service investigating a harmless high school civil rights project:

How about fanatical religious leaders getting assigned the position of head ofthe FCC, and then lobbing unprecedented fines at radio, network television, and perhaps now paid-for cable television (now they will even censor tv that people have to pay to get in their living rooms - what's next - a government employee comes over to my house and fast forwards through the naughty bits in my Basic Instinct VHS)

Don't you just love conservative government when the religions fanatics get in charge.
