Thats not to shabby, Rocko.

Was it better than last time?

Do they still take the best score per subject from each test and apply that? For examble, if you got a 680 this time in Math and you got a 710 the first time, does it count like you got a 710?

Yeah, last time I got a 1330/2020, so it's better. However, no, I don't think they do that. It could be a college by college basis, though. I know the one college I've been looking at states that they don't do it.

It is college by college basis. Clarkson took the best of both.

I thought I bombed yesterday's chem test but I ended up with a 77, bringing my overall grade down from a 98% to a 93%. I'm going to be angry if I miss an A in that class.

A) Transformers 2 was actually enjoyable, albeit wayyyy too long.

B) I should be getting Fight Night Round 4 and Falling Down in the mail today. :whee:
I tried to block, but it's like the cartoon where I'll guard my face, and he'll hit me in the belly, so I try to low block, and he'll hit me in the face. Lather, rinse, repeat...So I just move side to side, and counter.
I laughed picturing that in my mind for some reason.
Good job, Rocko. I only got an 1100 on my SAT
I got 1200 but I think it was out of 1700, not 2060 or whatever Rocko was saying.

It was out of 1600.

I got a 1390 on the old 1600 scale (math/verbal) and a 2060 on the new 2400 scale (math/verbal/writing). It wasn't a 1390 out of 2060. :p
Got laid off just now. Shit sucks.
Sorry to hear that mang.

Yeah but could you graduated from Kitchen University like Mr Budge?

I got a 1270 on my first time. I didn't take it again because I need 1270 for bright futures 100% scholarship.
My math was a 710. I'm not so good with the words. :)

I know my sibling got like in the 1400 or 1500s, which when my dad guessed I got an 1100 I was quite irritated.

Sorry, TFN, that's rough.

Good question.
Got laid off just now. Shit sucks.
That sucks man, I know how stressed out I was when my boss originally gave me 2 weeks. Hopefully you'll be able to find something else quickly.

I'm gonna join the Army, wolve11. I'll see you behind Hadji's palace. I'm sure I'll find something.. two of the coworkers that have called are already making calls to people they know that are hiring. Nice to have good people on your side, but I have some friends that have been looking for jobs for 5-6 months already and haven't found a single thing. We'll see, though.
Damn sorry to hear that TFN. There were no warning signs?
Nah. Yesterday were the talks of getting raises and today I'm gone. Most of my coworkers have already called me pretty upset that it happened since I was the only dependable dude there to help out with shit, but what can I do?

I took it twice, my first time I got like 1190, and the second time I got a 1300. Both times I got the same verbal score (560), but I improved my math score from 630 to 740. I ended up getting the same exact scores on my GRE, 560/740

That suck teef. Didn't you say a while back they were giving out bonuses because of some case? Maybe they shouldn't be doing that...

Everybody is getting raises from the money they're saving not having you there.

That stinks...Sorry to hear that. Something better will come along.

The GRE is way tougher than the SAT, the verbal was brutal and I had a writing-intensive major (though I did get a 5.5 on the writing), but I didn't think the math was too bad.

My friend who's in a PhD program for Economics said people freak out about the GRE when they're applying because if you don't get a 800 on the math you pretty much can't get in anywhere.

Yeah, I plan on working on my math scores over the summer with a prep book since I took SAT math 3 years ago.

Don't you do math in your major?

I took the GRE in 2007 and the last math class I took was College Algebra in 2003

I've always been really good at math though, I almost majored in it.

I'm horrible in math, always have been. That stats class kicked my ass last semester. Going to have to retake that so it will transfer.
As a psych major? Some statistics but I haven't had a math class since 11th grade.
Ah for some reason I thought you were chem/bio/something.

Sorry to hear that teef

Forgot my SAT scores but I remember I did horrible on the math part. I gotta be like the only Asian person out there who sucks at math.

Thanks, dudes/dudettes.
Sorry to hear that tiredfornow, will a hug soften the blow?
You know, when I got in my car, I sighed and said "A hug would be great right about now".. so I guess yeah, it would. :grouphug:

I can't believe that ING's CD rates are lower than their savings account rates... why the hell would I lock my money into a lower rate than I'm getting now?
Well, atleast I'm getting a month of severance pay added to this weeks pay to hold me off until I can find something.
Use it to get into the dealing game.

After doing some reading, i've come to the conclusion that something is wrong with my Ghostbusters game. The upgraded darts can kill the marshmallow minis instantly, even on casual they aren't for me. That's why i'm having such a hard time, the darts don't seem to do any damage at all.

Applying for school in the Fall and I still don't know what I want to get into. :(
Hey TFN come help me start the Budget Budge law firm.

Imagine your mug posted up on billboards all around Austin.
