Click the Address Book on the right, then click Register or Add, I don't remember. You have the option of registering another Wii or Email there. You just input the Wii Friend code and a nickname.
 
I finally got around to adding everyone who PMed me. I'm also starting to delete all the people who have been sitting on my list for a month and are still grayed out.

Moral of the story: PM me and I'll add you eventually.
