This OTT doesn't want to die.

What's a good website to buy cell phones? Don't really want to buy from Sprint's site, as I don't have an upgrade and wouldn't mind getting my phone, as well as my wife's phone, from another reliable site.
Mega Man Universe sounds interesting...it better hit the :360: and I hope its not as hard as MM8 and MM9.
You're close to my age, I believe. Did you not play games as a kid? :whistle2:S

I have fond memories of chucking the NES controller and stomping on it while playing MM3 :p

Question about Red Dead Redemption

I'm done with the mission right after De Santa betrays you. How much longer do I have til I finish the game?

A little more than 1/3 to go depending on the order you did the missions in Mexico.

Got back from the dentist.

It cost $176 and they said that it would fall out again.

I have to get a new crown and something else which costs $1400 w/o insurance.

Needless to say, I'm gonna get insurance and do it later.

Goddamn RDR is so repetitive. I just wanna complete the game to get my cheesemints but I can only play for 30 min or so at a time before I get bored.
Bought a dining room table. I'm a big boy now.
The wife and I were lazy and just bought a house with everything included. Kind of wish I didn't now. Too much shit, too little space. That and 2 kids whose toy collection grows and grows.

I don't want to be a big boy!
Did they offer anything free for the first few users that reach 100% like they did with GTAIV?
I think they are all community milestone related this time.

If you don't like the missions you should break them up with treasure hunting, survivalist herbal challenges and hunting. Check the cheeses for the mini-games too, I had fun getting the card game unlocks for the outfits- arm wrestling is ridiculously easy but getting the ringer in horseshoes is terrible. Lastly, by all means use the "skip to destination" option for trips that are in wagons.

I hear that

You stink at games. Mega Man 3 is pretty fucking easy. Mega Man 9 isn't all that hard either. Just takes a little bit of determination and a willingness to learn the patterns.

I could do a special OTT showcase, where I talk about each of my guns in their own separate posts! Then, I can talk about why NY gun laws are retarded and break that up into about 20 separate posts.
I know! I gave you advice on getting around campus a page or two back. I take it you're here for preview, and not Summer B.
Whoops, missed that. And yeah, it was for preview.
You won't be able to drive to classes. Learn the bus routes on campus. A bike isn't a bad choice, either.
Yes, I've since learned that driving is impossible. I'm still taking my car, but Lakeside is on the complete opposite end of everything, it seems, so I'll just rely on the bus. At least it's free.

Oh, Temp (or anyone who also knows about TVs), I need some TV advice.

I want a 26 or 27 inch TV for college. I'm going to have the university cable going into it, as well as my 360 via HDMI, my Wii via component, and maybe my PS2 via component. Also, I'm going to use it as my monitor. How do I get the computer audio to the TV? I want all audio to go through the TV, so I can then plug my wireless headphones into the TV and use them for any of my sound-producing activities, if necessary, without having to change the location of the wireless base. Would I right a wire from the 3.5mm headphone out jack that my speakers are plugged into, to the red/white audio-in of the TV? If so, is it possible to have the TV coordinate it so the DVI/VGA/HDMI video from my computer (whatever I end up using) will play that audio simultaneously?

Basically IDK WTF I'm doing and I don't want to buy a TV that won't have the connections I need. :x

My Vizio tv has an audio port next to the vga computer hook up. All you'll need to get computer sound to it would be a 3.5mm male to male cord.

On my tv if you would HDMI for the computer than you'll need the 3.5mm to rca cables.

http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Mini-Pl...TF8&s=electronics&qid=1279337035&sr=1-1-spell

So just look at the tv and what cables are associated with what. Because on mine the 3.5 to rca wouldn't work with VGA since they aren't on the same mode. You know what I'm saying?

It doesn't really matter. Most TVs have the input you need, and if they don't you can buy a $3 adapter to turn RCA plugs into a stereo jack or the other way around. You'll be good either way. Buy away.
Do I need to pay attention to response times for gaming?
Eh, not really. Unless you're going to buy a super old TV, any of today's TVs have fast enough response times that you won't even notice, including budget TVs.

I saw a really nice Samsung LED at Best Buy. But I mean I feel like it'd probably be more worth it at larger screen sizes.

Speaking of screen sizes, why do only budget brands make 1080p in 27"? LG, Samsung, etc. don't seem to have any 1080p models in that size, at least on Amazon that I can find. I was under the impression that sitting close to a smaller screen would make 1080p more important, but I guess it can't be too terribly necessary at 27" for the big makers not to have any in production.

Because 1080p in a tv that small is like bug bombing your house to kill one spider. Sure, you went all the way, but it was a bit of overkill. Mind you, that didn't stop me from getting a 1080p 22" computer monitor

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess, it would be because if you're looking to drop the cash on a brand name TV, then you're probably looking to go big, or at least 32". Anyone looking to get something smaller for their kitchen or whatnot is probably going to go with the cheapest option, since it wouldn't be something that's watched constantly, and to compete with off brands, they probably have to keep their smaller sets at 720.

This is just a total guess though.

Anyway, I love my Sceptre. It's worked great as an upstairs TV/computer monitor.

You'd be correct assuming they were only going to use it to watch TV in their living room and sit more than three feet away from it. But if you're getting up close and personal, 1080p is a must.
