Just a lack of money, I barely have enough for the regular version.
I thought you've been saving pennies for months?

Also, single XP in COD? Boo! I feel like I'm getting shit XP now.
Shit...I'm so behind on technology. I feel dumb.
That's what happens when you are old and senile. :booty:

Second page of my apps.
I keep the 3rd party stuff, and the itunes and stock apps I don't use here.

I like my little T-Mobile logo.

Less figurine collecting, more news reading. I mean, you're on CAG posting most of the day and into the real late hours of the night, so you have internet access you're just choosing to spend it here rather than following the news. It's your own fault.

I like how these third-rate video game stores won't sell MGS4 before Thursday. Are you motherfuckers that stupid? Do you think people are going to go out of their way to give you $60 when they can just go to Gamestop? Sell me the fucking game.

You go to the office and to the CatCave, why would you dock the Maps?

Dock should be "Phone, SMS, Safari and iPod."

Ok...I wasn't blaming anyone. Reason why I don't know much about it is because I never had one. Now that I'm planning on getting one, I need to know these things so I will be reading up on the sites.

...and I'll continue my "figurine" collection as I please.
Why would you take iPod off of the dock?

Boo-urns.

Also, check your email.
I don't SMS and I don't use it that much as a music player, kinda sucks.

As for the maps, I use them all the time.
I like using it more than Google for finding stores.
Also use it before going and leaving work to check traffic, it's saved me twice already.

It's fine. I just don't like the interface. And don't care for iTunes.
I miss my Zune.

Now that the Joy Division Zune isn't an option anymore, I'm gonna get a regular 80GB for cheap.

I'll use the iphone for podcasts and audiobooks though.
That was the weakest comeback I've ever read, LickinPenis. :whistle2:|
It was a weak attempt at a burn, had to come back with a weak rebuttal.

I really hope Amazon carries the new 3G iPhones...If I can get it with no tax, that will be a killer deal.

Zew, is there a way to tell that "you're running out of space" message to eat a bag of dick? I don't know why the fucking /var partition where programs install is so fucking small...

iPhone is pretty damn nice.

I almost want one, but I'm not sure I could do that jailbreak shit.

It would be nice to have it on T-Mobile though, since that's my current carrier and I like 'em.

I'll probably just end up re-upping my contract for 2 years and hopefully score a Sidekick for a good price by doing that.

Never seen it.

Hey LP, work your magic on that troll disguised as an indian kid. I don't even know or like him and he's stirring shit up.

Is it simple? I've never really looked into it, but since the iPhones that are jailbroken sell for so much more on eBay I figured it would be a hard process.

Yeah, it's very simple, nothing technical at all.

I had to use SSH to fix my Safari cookies problem though, but that took less than a minute as well.

The fuck did Brown do?

Is it easy to get it working on T-Mobile, then?

I wouldn't know how to cancel one phone and activate another all by my lonesome. :[

My "so glad I bought this iPhone" moment.

I opened up Maps and thought, I wonder if this works.....
Searched "film depot", a store I knew existed somewhere in Dallas to ask about some film.

It finds it, drops a pin on it's exact location, gives me a little arrow to click. I click it and it has it's phone number, address, website, etc.
I click the number, it calls them automatically, end call, drops me back to the map.
I hit bookmark and it gives me turn by turn directions to the place.

Yeah Rocko, once it's unlocked, all you have to do is put your old phone's SIM card inside.

No shit? Same phone number and plan and shit?

That is way too tempting.

T-Mobile can't tell that there's iPhones on their network that shouldn't be there?

Damn that does sound sweet.

Does it find pretty much any business that's in the phone book? Does it work with people who have listed numbers?

Does Apple try to update it/put new firmware on it when you connect it to your PC? I guess you could probably put a custom firmware on it, but does it work well?

Wow, I found this pretty decent homemade compilation CD at work just now.
I asked who it belonged to and they said he had quit last week and it'd just been sitting there.

He went through a lot of trouble with the design too. Looks very arts&crafts like.
Has lots of gold metal paint on the back, hand written track list.
A nice stylized picture of a lady on the front in a large flowery dress, think Amano style drawing.
It's entitled: BiographAli and has a little handdrawn ribbon design flowing around the front as well.
Cool, I'll post a pic later.

Tracklist:
YYY
Dick Dale
Rasputina
Nina Simone
Anne Lennox
Ramsey Lewis Trio
Django Reinhardt
Modjo
Prince
Alanis Morissette
Nouvell Vague
Marcy Playground
Animal Collective
Plas Johnson (?)
Angela McCluskey

Or does the exact same thing as a Blackberry.

Although both are really cool.

Yup, same cheap plan I've always had. I with the 5.99 T-Zones hack, unlimited internet when not around wifi.
Damn that does sound sweet.

I searched "starbucks" and a tons of pins dropped down around my apartment location.
Damn, there really is a ton of them.

One more question about the iPhone:

How do you pay for the internet usage? Like, my Razr doesn't have internet so I'm not paying for that in my plan. How would they charge me if I stuck my SIM card into an iPhone and started using it?

I don't believe it forces you to upgrade, no.

You can't use it unless you sign up for it.
I signed up for the T-Mobile $5.99 plan, but it's meant for really simple webaccess on normal phones, but the hack gives me full internet.

I can live with the slower speed after seeing the price bumped up to $30 on AT&T.

It's not really that bad, I can surf with patience.
Even used meebo and chatted on AIM with the cheap EDGE hack.

6 bucks rocko, i said it twice now. ;)

Those last two iphone pics I posted i sent with iFlickr over T-Zones hack while sitting here at work. Just hit send then back out to Home.
Took a minute and they were there on my flickr account nice and ready.

Going home now.
Dang, $6/month for EDGE on Tmobile sounds sick compared to $30/month 3G on AT&T.
It's not EDGE, it's something slower.

When I had my T-Mobile SDA and Dash, I used the $6 hack.

The $6 hack is labeled "G", while EDGE has the "E" at the top.

3G is probably 5-6x as fast. So it goes along with the price.

Wow, you have to pay $30 on top of your plan to get that 3G shit?

You totally edited it in the second time.

I'm assuming that's another simple process to get the $6 EDGE plan to give full internet? What kind of slow are we talking?
