"there are black members in the development team"

The mods need to shut up this SoNiC1023 kid.

What's this "Black people want" this "black people want" that bull? "Black people" isn't some homogenous group with the exact same tastes and opinions. There is no "them" or "us". And the n-word is completely unnecessary in this public thread.
Maybe so. I just found using " black people " silly, as not only was he misrepresenting black people, but also left out the people who might find those kind of issues important who aren't black. I know this is really being hard on the guy, but I just have a thing about people saying ______ people in general. It makes me sick.
I think people are making a big fuss over nothing with this, just to have a say in something. Hell, I'm "arabian" but I'm not bending over backwards trying to get something on this game...even if it does look like Re4. Great, they have "black members" in the dev. team - unless the game wows people like the last one to sustain 4, yes 4 different releases on different systems (gc, pc, ps2, wii) then good for them. If not, then watch your controversy backfire capcom!

My consideration on this title will be to wait for a final verdict, and to take the opinions of people I value before making a decision, for purchase or otherwise.
Couldn't you have just said "I need a certain review to see if its worth a purchase, rental, or an outright pirate."?
Read the thread before you go on your Anti -PC rant. Jesus Christ. I said I wasn't made at the fact that he used the word " black ".
You clarified, saying that you hate when people say ______ people. And that is what my post was about, being able to call people (not black people) what they are. How about reading your own post before accusing me of not reading?

I meant in reference to generalizing them. If a person is black they're black. However I have a problem with someone saying " _____ people feel this way " and stuff like that.

I think I clarified that already. Whatever, srs bsns, etc etc.

This type of thing that is just perpetuated by lazyass media sources that just want people freaked out and watch for the ad time. BLEH.
BLACKS?!?!?!

Well, there goes MY purchase! :nottalking:
Oh shit thanks now I gotta wipe my drink outta my keyboard, LOL!
this thread needs more black people.RE5 is not racist, but it can be seen as insensitive. In the first trailer, it shows Chris(who is white) killing a bunch of black people. so to the nongamer/zombie aficionado, it looks like chris is killing them for no reason.so these people jump to conclusions and ASSume that Chris is killing them because they're black. These people are not stupid, they just don't have their facts right.Capcom chose Africa due to them hinting it as the birthplace of the virus. I'm kinda glad that Capcom chose Africa seeing how zombie folklore comes from Africa. Also, to all the people who keep insisting that the spaniards didn't fret about RE4,just remember, spaniards are an ethnicity, not a race.
Why does this thread need more black people?

Second I'd say someone is stupid to jump to conclusions like that. It's not that hard to do research when you're on the web, and most people were in fact on the web during the genesis of this chaos.

Doesn't zombie folklore come from the Caribbean rather than Africa? Maybe you're getting it confused because it originated in the Afro-Caribbean community?

Lastly the fact that Spanish is an ethnicity means you shouldn't expect people to "fret"? Last time I checked people get pretty offended if you're attacking their ethnicity, it's not that far from race. There's a huge difference between a Spanish person and a German or Irish person, despite them technically having the same race.. (Not saying RE4 is racist, but not sure what you mean by that...)

Thanks.

Nah, you're earlier post read more as just hating anyone calling a black person black. One of those uber PC lets ignore race type of things.

This post clarified it though, and I'd hope most everyone here would agree that no one should make those types of dumbass generalizations across who racial groups.
I think they're trying to say that RE5 is going to be the most racist game ever, but it'll be okay since they have a Black guy on board. Fried chicken and grape soda confirmed.
^ Fried chicken and grape soda?? What is wrong with you?! That is so stereotypical!

lmao, it's called a joke- adding brevity to an otherwise grave conversation by showing the absurdity of stereotypes. People who joke about stereotypes are the ones LEAST likely to be racist. They acknowledge within their joke that a stereotype is so ridiculous that it's funny.

No, it's fact. It was proven by last month's mythbusters episode.

So what if black people like it? Are you saying it would be wrong for them to like these tasty foods so much?

I'm offended!
