C'mon, we hear about people stealing from our government all the time (many of them government employees themselves doing the stealing), and you're surprised to hear that there is fake gold in Fort Knox?
 
How is the vs. forum slow? We've got Pat Robertson going nuts, Harry Reid being accused of racism, supreme court decisions etc.

problem is, we got the same 20 people posting in here. we need some new blood. to stir things up. you dont even have to read threads half the time. you read the thread title and you can predict what troy, msut, bob are going to say. then you know myke is gonna say something. then i make a sarcastic post but you can really tell that im leaning right. then you and others will rally behind myke. then straglers like adultlink & mylo come in but nobody really pays attention. then msut and bob both go nuts. then strell makes a penis joke. then the thread falls off the top. and at the end of the thread nobody has changed their mind.

And you don't think it's at least possible that the original gold bars were swapped with counterfeited bars with identical serial numbers somewhere down the trade line? What better way to counterfeit gold than to copy a serial of a gold bar from one of the most famous gold storage facilities in the world? Just because that serial number was tracked to being stored at Fort Knox at some point doesn't mean ever bar in Fort Knox is fake, that's a pretty extreme leap in logic.
