So, I decided to stop at Sonic this morning for breakfast. I order a breakfast sandwich with fries and a Dr. Pepper. The total should be about $3, but the lady asks for about $5.50. :shock:

I say, "whoa, hold the fuckin' phone; how is it over $5?" She reads through my order, and not only was she overcharging me, but she got most of my order wong as well (I'd like to note that it wasn't more expensive because of the order being wrong; she had somehow swapped my fries and DP with tater tots and a Sprite). Anyhoo, she leaves to fix my order. She brings me my DP and my sandwich, along with the Sprite that she thought I had ordered. She just gives it to me, saying it was going to be thrown away if I didn't take it. She says she'll be back in a moment with my fries.

I check the bag that she's already given me, and it also has the tots she thought I ordered. :shock: :D When she returns again to bring me my fries, she whispers, "They went ahead and remade your entire order order." She then hands me a bag with another sandwich and my fries.

So, for a little over $4, I got two breakfast sandwiches, fries, tots, and enough soda to drown a horse (no offense ZL). :cool:

but awesome stuff man! try giving some food 2 a lady friend at work...ya never kno ;)!!! but seriously awesome stuff..just like the time sum1 used 2 $2 bill at a taco bell, and they thought it was fake, got proven wrong, guy basically got every speck of food for free!

I kind of wish there were Sonics around here, I'd like to try one sometime.
 
I always have problems like that at Taco bell...unfortunately they screw my order up in ways that make them un-edible to me.

i get free food all the time
they hand me a soda at the drive through all the time
and u know i didnt order no damn soda
so i ussually speed away spillin the soda all over myself in my attempt to make my free soda getaway
 
They really need to expand and add more stores. I also see the commercials and they look like a good place but there are none near me.

Same here. We used to always get coupons for Quiznos in the mail, but there were none around here. They finally built one in town a couple of months ago. Now we actually have a use for those coupons.

There use to be a Sonic's out in the ghetto in San Bernardino, actually it may still be there, but I ain't going out to that hell hole of a town. Only other Sonic's I've ever seen was in San Diego :(

Update, because I know at least one person wants to know:

I managed to finish all the food I originally planned to order (breakfast sandwich, fries, DP), got halfway through the second sandwich, and that's it. I left the rest for my g/f since she loves Sprite and tots.

And no, not a damn thing wrong with soda in the morning. That's like saying people shouldn't drink coffee in the morning.

I don't drink coffee, so soda is my only source of caffeine, save the occasional cup of tea. And damn nice of you to give the GF your tots and Sprite.

Sonic is one of my best choices for fast food, since they have a whole lot of different things to eat, and always good. Plus, their customer service is always top-notch, as we've seen here in this very thread.

Another Sonic snafu that once happened to my Dad and I:

He and I stop there to get drinks. The total comes out to about $3, and my dad pays with a $10. The server thought it was a $20 I guess, and brings us $17 in change. We hadn't even noticed until after we drove off. :lol:

I'll have to eat there again. I ate there once, and it wasn't good. The sub didn't even seem toasted, and didn't taste all that good.
