We rented You Me and Dupree at 1 am. Not the worst rental of all time, but it wasnt a good movie.

Tron. Man, were they ahead of their time. If it had been made today instead, it'd be in my Top 10 easily.

Firewall - kinda good. I remembered when it came out a lot of critics bashed it but in all honesty the movie didn't deserve all the harsh words. Nothing spectacular but worthy of a watch in my opinion.
Children of Men - AWESOME!
yes yes it was
the last kiss
how was that, i wanted to see it but never got around to it.

The Last Kiss is great.. definately not a chick flick like the cover implies.. it's about four guys and freaking out when turning 30 and the changes they go through.. pregnancy, divorce, cheating, needing to get the fuck out of there.. i t was the first movie i've bought on day one for full price (19.99) in over a year.

The last 2 weeks I saw 3 awesome movies.

Children of Men - 5/5
A great twisted scifi movie.

Crank - 4/5
Dumb, leave your brain in the other room popcorn eating fun.

Pan's Labyrinth - 5/5
Wow!!! Go see this now.
Jackass 2. I don't think I ever stopped laughing.
Same here it was actually good and I didn't care to much for the first one.

Gridiron Gang - pretty good worth a rental.

Finally saw Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas for the first time

Not as good as I was expecting it to be but it was still good.

Though I've been told it gets better each time you watch it.

Pan's Labyrinth
Eh it was a little slow-moving and somewhat disappointing as I was expecting a fantasy with reality elements not a somewhat dull war drama with a couple of weird characters tossed in for a few minutes (honestly, there was about 15 minutes total fantasy scenes)

The Illusionist

I went to Blockbuster tonight planning on renting Saw III if they had it. I saw The Illusionist there, and had been wanting to see it for a while now. I figured I'd get it if they didn't have Saw III. I'm glad they didn't, because The Illusionist was exceptional.

Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti are both excellent in the movie. I'll admit I guessed how the ending could happen, although I was never certain it would actually end that way. I still enjoyed it all the way through and was entertained throughout the whole movie.

Edward Norton always picks off the wall roles and he nails them every time. I regret not seeing it in theatres, as I would have liked to support it. I'll definitely be picking up the DVD and encourage everyone else to at least rent it. It has easily become one of my favorite movies.
