CAGiversary!
It's 4am and I have a laptop sitting on my lap. It's on its last leg of power, and I'm pissed off as I will have nothing else to do (I'm on vacation and forgot my charger).

That's when I come up with a brilliant idea... a laptop battery powered by fusion.

ADVANTAGES

+ battery stays charged for 10+ years
+ battery would have an awesome glow
+ bragging rights

DISADVANTAGES

- nuclear waste
- keeping on lap would probably cause temporary impotence

Does any other CAGgers out there have some sweet-ass ideas or want to steal my plan before I patent it?
 
I think you guys have it backwards. Nuclear fission is what current plants use, and it is this form of power that generates nuclear waste. Nuclear fusion has yet to be practically applied to power generation but were it to work, it would supposedly not generate waste.
