Think Excite Truck is a good game to spend $34 on?

Yeah, its definetly worth $34. The nice thing about it is that its a nice pick up and play game that, along the same vein as Wii Sports, is easy to get non-video game players interested in.

Yeah, I'd say its worth that. I enjoyed it when I rented it, and would like to get it. $50 is too much though.

Yes. It is a blast.

But definitely get an SD card if you don't have one. Custom soundtracks are a MUST with this game. Unfortunately it only recognized 100 songs, no matter how many you put on the card.

Yup, I had a blast with it. Sold it after I beat it, but I'll probably pick it up again when it drops to under $20. $34 is a great price used, let alone sealed.

Yes! Great try-one-more-time game. Give it 30 minutes or so to get a hang of the controls and the game mechanic (unless you've played a Burnout, which I have not).

I think it's easily worth that price. I've had a lot of fun with it so far.

It took me a little while before I stopped turboing into trees, though. It's weird having your thumb on the d-pad and not using it for steering.

It's a great game, I'd say it's worth around $40, so definitely get it for $34. I still need to get S rankings for the rest of super excite.

If you like arcade-style racers and aren't looking for too much multiplayer then you should like it.

This game is still giving my son and me hours of fun even though we've finished the game 3 "S" ratings shy of completion.

It's a lot like Burnout in an arcady-faster than hell sort of way. Very much worth $34. The only thing that would make it worth $50 would be an online mode but, sadly, it has none.

No matter how good you think you are at racing games, do all of the tutorial. Night and Day difference between me playing the kiosk before christmas and when I sat down with it at home.

Love this game. Working on S's for Super Excite right now.

BTW, Sandisk 1GB card for $19.99 with no rebates at comp usa. Played most of the game with the built in music. Now playing with my own and its MUCH better.

I didn't really care for it. Found it repetitive and not as good as most of the 360 racers. I'm surprised about all the Exite Truck love when a lot of people bashed Wario Ware a few threads down.

Thanks for the opinion, I guess, but it's not on the 360, we're talking about the Wii. He didn't ask if was as good as a "360 racer", just was it worth $34.

Which 360 -arcade-racers are better anyway?

I'm with you on the part of not caring for it. When I played it, it was pretty obvious that without Nintendo's name on it and without the Wii-mote this would be one of those Wal-Mart 3 pack games/$5 bargain bin title in the future.

It was fun for awhile with multi-player though.
