Oh, man. I can't believe Windows Vista is old news; I just got this computer... I hate falling behind on newer innovations, especially when it comes to computers & junk. Shit's expensive. :[

Apparently my "restricted envelope of chewing" is a likely culprit for my severe grinding of my teeth... so I need braces to correct it. :\

At least it'll be the robotic braces that should only be on for ~12-18 months.

The what was meant as: I have never known/heard of anyone older than 20 getting braces.

Do it now budge, while your parents insurance will still pay for it. Even if you're in school and still on the parent's insurance, once you're over 18 or so a lot of insurance companies won't pay for braces.
