Good.

Hey, xscorchx, does Gamecrazy still give away those sheets of 12 rental coupons w/purchase of a console? If so, are they the shitty ones that you can only use on "Vault" games or do they still have coupons that are good on new releases? Thanks.

Nice ott

not sure where that first X came from..

we were told to do a field destroy on all old coupon sheets and replace them with the shitty new ones that only allow you to rent the "vault" games. a lot of stores are still handing out the old ones, though. The old ones are green and red.. the new ones are brown and orange (appropriate)

Quick question folks. I know you all know everything. *bows*

My fiance and I are getting a 360 tomorrow (Wal-mart deal, early wedding present). I had a 360 briefly with a gamer name thingie. If I get my 360 tomorrow, go online, will I be able to get my username (what's it called -- gamertag?) back? As long as I can remember the password or something, it'll let me retrieve my id?

Yeah, you just need to remember the email and password you used.
not sure where that first X came from..
Any new developments on the Wal-Mart deal?
Trak told me we should wait until later tonight. You might want to talk to him on AIM, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say.

Sigh...oh well. It was flattering at first, went to creepy, and now it's just lame.

Sick Theatergoer Almost Ruins Breakfast At Tiffany's

Friel285x240.jpg

Anna Friel almost forgot her lines during a recent performance in West End show "Breakfast At Tiffany's" - when a sick theatergoer showered the stalls with vomit.
The "Pushing Daisies" star is currently appearing as Holly Golightly in the hit stage production of Audrey Hepburn's classic movie.

But one performance was almost ruined after a reveler threw up over the balcony - splattering audience members below.
Friel admits she was angry at first - until she realized what had happened.

She tells U.K. radio station Smooth, "I thought it was late-comers who shouldn't have been allowed in - but it turned out someone had vomited from the balcony over six people and they were being escorted out to be cleaned up.

"I carried on singing but almost lost my way as there was such a noise coming from the seats. I almost lost it but I'm proud I kept my concentration."

Some grad student in the music building here photoshopped a flute where the blade is for a poster for one of their performances.

Dammit, i get this replacement motherboard in and i still can't get this thing to boot properly. I have never had this much trouble from a system build.

Finally home.

Got my Watchmen kubricks and UP preorder steelbook, and saw This Is It again. So awesome, on all accounts. :]

how much does he owe you? I'll break both kneecaps if its over 50. You might as well accept that you got played and you're not getting your money. :C

I just realized that 6 minutes passed between the time LP put up his "OTT" and the creation of this one, yet no one posted in his. You guys are committed to your cause.

Got paid today, and paycheck was a little over $100 more than I was expecting. I didn't realize I'm in this godforsaken store as much as I am.

Remember when Craven was a janitor and we were shittin' on him and then he corrected us for saying that since he had only applied to be a janitor and wasn't actually one yet.

Good times.

gohastings is having a 30 percent off sale again. Just grabbed Role Models, Observe and Report, and Get Smart for 26 shipped.

Wow. I jumped into this winter Odd Notion expecting it to be the same as the fall Odd Notion, but apparently they switch it up every season. A dark, sour beer? Very interesting.
Get Smart? :0(
Anne Hathaway son. It was more an impulse buy. It is far from a great movie and a little hokey, but I wanted something mindless and it isn't like it is the worst movie ever.

Kill Bill just started on MTV. Glad I ran across it.

I like to watch movies that I have seen multiple times with the volume just high enough to hear and put all my music on random. It usually works out pretty awesomely.

Thanks man, I just snagged the following :br:'s

The Orphanage
Miracle at St. Anna
Dead Space: Downfall (confirmed Dead Space fanboy)
The Tale of Despereaux (the first movie I ever took my kid to, I know it's terrible).

All for $30.
I hate getting up early on Saturday, g'night.
Happy Birthday, carven_friend.
Thanks Brak.

Oddly, I feel like it's just another day. I think my inner child is slowly dying. No fun. Well that and it's been a hell of a few months. Daughter born, 3 weeks later she spends 3 weeks in a hospital. Now we're just finally settling in to "normalcy", which isn't normal because I'm laid off for the foreseeable future.

The good old times. Good old unemployment rules, got to love them. If only they just said "you know what, this kid isn't going to actually work for any of these places he is applying. let's just give him the money for "trying"." Never going to be a janitor. I'll be a stay at home dad before I do that or fast food.

With that said, hows it shakin J Mac Dizzle?
Yeah man, those were some really good times. The best times.
I. Know. Right.

Should I want Adventureland or just let it sit for a few more days? I ask you this because your avatar and I assume you've seen it.

Speaking of seeing, it looks like Boise State could help some undefeated, non BCS teams if they keep playing like shit.

Well, looks like I'm going to get up at like 6:30 tomorrow and try to get one of those laptops from Wal Mart for my mom.

It'd be nice to have that around the house, plus then she'll have a computer when I take the desktop to college.

Went to work at 5 hour shift at my part-time job at the ski shop and turned out working 10 hours. good for $$ crappy for everything else.
