...Duh.

I searched for Penn & Teller, but didn't even think of searching for just Teller.

Thanks! :]

I really need to watch Bullshit!. It sounds great.
It really is great. The second hand smoke one really was interesting.

I didn't know Teller spoke on the Simpsons...

And for whatever question you have, wikipedia has the answer.

Gah, got a letter from the school advising me that I'm "truant" and if this "activity" continues my parents will get fined or some crap. I'm already 18, are they allowed to do this??
Two questions:

Do Penn & Teller do magic anymore?

Has Teller ever spoken?
Teller speaks in the New Age and Hypnotism episodes of Bullshit!.

I'm not sure if when they say that truancy laws are between age 6 and 18, that they include 18 or not. My theory is that they may not be aware that you are 18. You might want to get in the know concerning the various laws there just in case.

Nah, Wikipedia has what someone else thinks is the answer.
If it's for little trivial things like "Has Teller ever talked", it's great.
But if you come to a point were you need real verifiable information on a subject, it's no so good.

Stupid mother fucker. I just noticed EB changed their website to make it more like Gamestops.

Edit: Goddamn, I think they erased all my account information too. I can't login. I can't even retrieve my login info because they don't have my email address on file, even though they sent me an email to that address only 5 days ago.

Turns out that there are a lot of college students that rely on it, though. Despite the fact that we've probably got - literally - millions of papers, books, and documents on file either in our libraries or online, everyone uses Wikipedia and Google.

Convenience is dangerous at times.

I wouldn't use wikipedia as a source on a paper, but I would use it as a background reference to understand the basic background.

Soon enough the hard copies of references will be available electronically, too, making Wikipedia useless. Then it will be convenient AND factual to research again.

wikipedia and google aren't bad places to start research for a paper. i think it's good for general stuff like well-known people and historical events.

Now I see what all the love for the DS is about. Yesterday, I bought the bundled Electric Blue DS + Animal Crossing, Mario Kart DS, Tetris, and, er, Nintendogs. Laborador Edition. >_> I feel so guilty buying something so childish, but I need a break from the likes of FEAR and HL2. I also bought a Samsung YP-5Z Mp3 player. It's fucking sweet, especially since it works seamlessly with Rhapsody.
The real life simpsons intro was really disappointing. :[
it wasnt too bad. It had Bleeding Gums and the sax solo... I liked that episode... Gervais rocks.

Be prepared to have all your free time sucked away by Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. And when your hand gets too cramped to play either game, that's the time you'll use to walk, feed, wash, and play with your virtual dog. Whatever time you have left in the day, I guess you could use to play Tetris and/or search more DS games to buy.
I'll admit it, I laughed when I saw "Who will you meet in Sports heaven".
I did too

Nah. Been saving up paychecks. I don't get much of a tax refund.
Gooood Loard, thas'allotamoney!
Yup. Something like $530. Good thing I still have money left in my account... Something like $49. :D
:applause:
Thanks. I'm happy with it, despite my mother's constant nagging.

No kidding. The GCN version sucked up my time (Animal Crossing) and for the past two days I've been runing around selling cherries and catching fish. Grr.. My doggy was raging me by refusing to roll over this afternoon. I wonder if the DS detects and penalizes for cussing... Tetris and MK are the games that I bought so I could bring up a game quickly and just get into. On the shitter or waiting at a restaurant, for instance.

Where/what the hell was it? I watched the episode, but didn't see anything "real life." Was it during the intro music? (Because my roomate was flipping channels and I think that's the only thing we missed.)

Yeah, it was the intro done with real people. There was a thread around here somewhere a while back with a vid of it, but since I have dial-up I never got the watch it.

I was disappointed that "Marge" didn't even have blue hair. I dunno, I figured if Fox was actually gonna use it it would've been of higher quality. But WTF was I thinking, it's Fox.

my roommate sucks. she's the messiest person i know (i would clean the place and hours later it was trashed again), so bad to the point it was embarassing and i wouldn't invite people over. so she applies for a job in venice beach and gets it. that's cool. she's leaving april 1, so she's supposed to be looking for a person to take over her half of the lease. what does she do? she goes out of town for the weekend with her friends. i had to help with casting a short film...how the hell am i supposed to do that and show the place. i hope she gets stuck paying her half until the lease is up. freakin bitch.

if anyone here is lookin for a place in vancouver and they're clean and responsible, feel free to talk to me.

Sell her panties on the Internets.
Sell her panties on the Internets.
that would be sick man. i've seen her not shower for like a week at a time. and she wears regular brief style panties (she's a skater and wears her pants low and baggy, so i guess thongs don't work for that shit).
20 minutes into the Simpsons episode and I have not laughed once.
Welcome to late 2004.

The last Simpsons I saw was when we 'analyzed' one for US Literature a month or so ago. Before that... Months, probably. They're just not funny anymore. :/

The simpsons have become really hit or miss lately. Mostly miss if you ask me. But every once in awhile they have something descent... now let me sit down and watch my DVR'ed episode from tonight...

Saddening to say the least...

CURSEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
In other news, V for Vendetta was most excellent!
Yes, yes it is. I went and saw it opening day and will see it once again before it leaves theaters. It exceeded my expectations in every way.

Chicken is bestest meat in the whole wide universe, therefore I vote for the hot dogs :p

i had mini wheats and drank milk. i was too lazy for a bowl. since i'm still up i might go for round 2 and eat some chicken.
