They're going to give a Boy Scout tour in the radio station...

NoOoOoOoOoOoOooooo..!
That's strange. What do they do, ship them to a different FYE store?

I don't like FYE, all their shit is too expensive. Same with Suncoast, but they're going out of business here. I'm going to stop by again tomorrow.
I believe so.

And, yes; Their shit is way too expensive. I would never spend actual money there.

I don't know if this is national, but they gave me an extra 45% for my trade-ins.

They gave my friend $15 for some shitty Jimmy Buffett CD.
I haven't eaten at Boston Market in a while. Is it any good? Because I need a new place to go fur my lunch break at work other than 7-11.
You nig-nogs better watch out. I just ordered Call of Duty 4 from yourfree360games.com. I'll be making my triumphant entry into the game.

360's all packed up and ready to go back from whence it came. Hopefully they'll credit the purchase back quickly so I can gets me a brand spankin new one next week.

so at my new job, i'm working for an orthodontist, right.so as i was taking off this kid's braces, his mother (40-ish) was talking to the other son about COD4, which he was playing some portable version of. the two kids are no older than 10 and 12 mind you, so i kind've ask what they're playing like i don't know what COD4 is. The mom goes and jumps in and starts telling me about their games right, and says "so, how many times did i die in halo3 last night? you fragged me like 4 times in a row". i lulz'd so hard i had to stop working. apparently the mom's rule is that they can play rated M games, but only if mom is playing with them, to suck all of the joy out of the experience.
I wish they sold Criterion DVDs, too.
Local FYE here had Hard Boiled Criterion. Was tempting, but they were asking over $100 for it.

fuck that.
Brakdaddy, what do you think of Stir of Echoes? I thought it was pretty good, all things considered.
Haven't seen it... I considered watching it before I sold it, but I don't feel like it. :|

Say, if anyone has either American Psycho or A Scanner Darkly on Blu-Cheese, and they want to trade it for Stir of Echoes, let me know. ;)

$100 for a dvd? I don't know what Criterion is but I can't imagine it's anything worth nearly half that.

It's probably a used copy, seeing as how it's out of print, which is why fye is gouging.

I remember when the Salo Criterion went for a Helluva lot.
how is that turok demo?!

i wanna shoot some dinosaur $$$$as.

What is so special about Criterion DVD's anyway?
The Criterion Collection, a continuing series of important classic and contemporary films on DVD.

I hate that the Criterion version of Ladri di biciclette is titled The Bicycle Thieves, where as the Image Entertainment DVD is titled The Bicycle Thief, which is the title I prefer. Using the plural of "thief", in the title, ruins the film a li'l.

Image Entertainment has some nice DVDs, too. I have three, I think.

- My Name is Nobody
- La Dolce Vita
- The Bicycle Thief

Good pictures.

(Image Entertainment owns Criterion, I think.)

Hmm interesting, I just looked it up on Wikipedia, but thanks for responding. That still seems a little crazy paying 100 dollars for one DVD. I guess there are some die Hard collectors.

Yea, it's used. I like the movie, but I'll stick to the copy on my Stranglehold disc. I do like getting Criterion whenever possible though. I especially want the Brazil Criterion release.
What's good on Live Arcade for 400 points?

Any must haves according to OTTers (400/800pts)?
Mortal Kombat, so i'm not the only fool who bought it.

XBL not working today?

I just looked it up on Wikipedia too. Out of the 400+ titles they listed I've seen 7. Important classics my ass.

Pffft. I got hooked up with MKII on my PS3. That fufills my oldschool MK quota, thank you very much.

What's the point of rediculous time-based achievements, especially when the game is short as hell? Wartech has secret achievements of 1, 10, 30, and 100 hours played when the story mode takes 20-30 minutes to play through. I could see 1 and 10 being fiarly good, but who's going to spend 30 or 100 hours playing the game?

Frosty, go for Uno for the $5.

It was probably $39.99 when it was new. It's only ~$100 because it's out of print... although I believe you can get it for less on eBay.

Hell; munch sold me his out of print RoboCop Criterion for $20.

And, yeah, Sneaky: The Brazil Criterion is very nice.

Uno came with the Arcade -- I have it on that disc with Boom Boom Rocket, Pacman CE, Feeding Frenzy, and Luxor 2. Also have Hexic HD (of course), Geometry Wars, and SotN.

The Italian means, and De Sica meant, for it to be called Bicycle Thieves.

As a plural, it's not definite, and shows that in all of us, is the possibility of becoming a "bicycle thief" given circumstance.
Shit. A serious exploit has been discovered in uTorrent versions earlier than 1.7.5.x. I don't wanna upgrade. :(
Uh link please? I haven't heard about that, I might want to downgrade, like now.

EDIT:

Get Worms Frosty.
Any good free pc Optimizers ?
it's not *really* an optimizer, but I usually recommend ccleaner to people.
it's default function is to clean out caches for all sorts of programs reclaiming your disk space... (stuff like your temp files for opera/firefox/IE, MS Office, Windows, etc.). It also has a registry cleaner that will remove dead/bogus keys from your registry, as well as provides a secondary interface to add/remove programs and cleaning out programs that start when you log onto your PC.

So you're pretty much limited to arcade stuff then? I see TMNT for 400 pts.

I don't know if you like your client being remotely crashed and having foreign code executed on your machine though.

Also: all is well with the cosmos. My ports are forwarding properly with the new version. :D

Nah, I can get anything man, I gots a HD -- there's just so much stuff to sort through on live that I figured I'd solicit suggestions. :)

And NO space giraffe. I have enough shmups between my PS3 and the 360.

I didn't say the translation was wrong, assy. I said that using the plural of "Thief", in the title, ruins the film -- it ruins the ending, to be specific.

"The Bicycle Thief" was the US title, and "Bicycle Thieves" was the UK title.

The Bicycle Thief is a more poetic title, upon viewing the movie.
