This seller is a liar and a cheat. Don't trade with him unless you want to be SCAMMED
He can't see anything in the Trading Forum while he's in TTO. I suggest people PM him to try and get in touch with him, though, IMO, it's not going to do any good.
Is there a timeframe as to when the TTO is going to expire so he can read all the unhappy posts here?
WHY THE HELL Would he SCAM People he hads 73+ feedback
He had no plans of using the site again and wanted to go out with a bang ?

I don't personally believe he meant to scam anybody. I am under the belief the loophole he and many others used to obtain discounted Microsoft Points got cut-off one day unbeknownst to all. He had a ton of orders "on the books" and more coming in every single day. He got overwhelmed, couldn't get any more supply and simply shut down. If this is the case obviously I and many who had paid him for Points would have understood and he could have refunded all of our money. I'm not exactly sure why he hasn't done this to date. Perhaps he was truly holding out for another Point connection that never materialized. By that time he was already 30-60 days "past due" to many of us and said "forget it."

Since he still has my $210 I am still giving him the benefit of the doubt and will certainly not ridicule him publicly. Again, SmurfALMIGHTY, when you have the opportunity to read this thread again I hope you'll do the honorable thing and refund our payments to you.

At this point I think you guys need to contact his local authorities to get this taken care of. Enough people making reports he will be forced to take actions.

Well, if he already spent all your money its not exactly easy to refund.

I'm sorry, but this close to the dumbest thing I've seen. If you're supply gets cut off and you're getting orders in it's very easy to refund the money. The guy was checking on his orders everyday and instead of being a man, he's a little bitch with no backbone so he ran away with probaby over $1000.

He can very easily refund everyones orders; If you think people were just sending this guy money to his paypal without communication that's just assanine. He knows who he owes money too, but like I said, he's a coward and decided to run with the money.

My suggestion to those of you out of money. Get information on this guy and then pay someone who can do something about it. Or go to the police, because I'm sure this guy is involved in other illegal activities which you can bring under light. One less scumbag on the streets.

While I agree with all the points you're making, I'm not exactly sure what you're advocating here?

I wouldn't be as blunt as you were, but if I lost $210, I wouldn't be as nice as Gar3. If the guy's "point connection" got screwed up, get to the fucking store, take your god damn losses, and make good on your promise. I really don't care what it takes... If you have my money, you're either giving me back my money or giving me what I payed for in a timely fashion. 2-3 weeks is my cutoff point. If he really does have $1000+ of outstanding transactions, that has to be punishable by more than a slap on the wrists...

Why do people who are scammers always have have a disclaimer that they're afraid of being scammed in the OP? I am seeing this trend more and more.

It tends to make people trust them more. If they say that they don't like scamming, and you don't either, you are both under the same conclusion. Also, have you ever heard the saying, "Never kid a kidder"?

It's nice to see you read what I actually wrote. Again, I don't believe he intentionally set out to scam but got overwhelmed with orders and at the same time his supply dried up and then he said "forget it" and dropped out of contact along with our money. Of course he could have refunded everyone right then and there but he didn't. I stated as much in my opening paragraph for goodness sakes.

Again, I lost money here so I have a bit of a different prospective. As someone else stated, SmurfALMIGHTY has probably already started up a new screen persona here on CAG. If that's the case then he's probably going to read this thread once or twice. Verbally assaulting him isn't going to get him to refund anybody. Realistically, there's not much any of us can do to get our payments back and SmurfALMIGHTY is fully aware of this.

Again, I lost money here so I am handling this in the best most mature manner I can. The fate of my refund is fully in the hands of SmurfALMIGHTY and no one else. People can suggest contacting authorities and other inane activities like hiring a bunch of toughs but at the end of the day none of that is going to truly work. So I am taking the high road here and hope I get a refund in the near future by appealing to SmurfALMIGHTY's better nature. Again, others can go about getting their refund in the manner they see fit but this is the avenue I am taking. Good luck to all.

Well I really hoped that SmurfALMIGHTY would come around, and who knows...he COULD some day. But if he really wanted to, he knows our Email addresses and has our contact info. It's been a long time now and we still haven't heard anything, so it's looking more and more doubtful. I'm hoping this Christmas he comes around and surprises us all. Do the right thing Smurf!

Honestly, it's all nice and what not that you're trying to be peaceful about it, but do you think that somebody who took the money of however many people will have a change of heart because you're being decent about it? What about Ploppsdman? He and two others had to contact the police multiple times before the person finally decided to send the games back. HOPEFULLY Smurf's higher feedback will prove he's reliable... But there's many people that just aren't like that anymore. Hopefully you'll all get your money back, but sometimes you need to take some offensive to get everything back.

He's not reliable. When several of us noted that codes that should have been valid (and were checked at purchase) no longer worked, he responded through Xbox Live and, in no certain terms, told me I was SOL.

He resold codes he sent me when I didn't use them all immediately, then when I went to him about it--- called me a liar, cheat, etc.

Several others who purchased a large amount ($200+) from him have similar stories. The fact is, I'm owed at least 3 codes for 4000 pts... and I'll never see them. A concentrated offensive is needed at this point.

You guys haven't contacted authorities yet? What the hell...

You're not getting your money back, period. The guy spent it all on video games. He's on XBL right now playing DJ Hero. Going off of his Myspace page, he's obviously a young kid that isn't mature enough to understand the magnitude of his mistake. For F*'s sake, he recently bought borderlands, MW2, DJ Hero, etc. The guy is obviously spending the money he owed you and you're still waiting for him to come through?

You already have his address, etc... Has anyone tried calling the number listed? Are you guys waiting for someone that didn't get scammed to contact the Police? :|

Edit: aaaaaand bump... >.>
Just saw this thread...damn.

What part of Illinois does he live in, folks?
According to GamesTZ, he lives in Joliet.

not gonna lie, when i first saw this thread title, i though it was somebody using reverse psychology to look at their trading thread like "DONT CLICK HERE!!!" lol..

About an hour north of where I live...hmm.

HATE TO BUMP A MONTH OLD THREAD BUT WTF Smurf went bad???!! I was looking to pick up a 12+1 code for a friend. I knew someone here used to sell them cheap so i checked my feedback to see who i'd got it from and then found this thread!

I dealt with him back in June when he was a still a new trader and had no trouble at all. I mailed him $60 CASH for a 13 month XBL code and a 4000 points code. He sent me the 12+1 code right away and agreed to send the points code when his cash arrived. I received the PM in less than a week with that code and thanking me for sending quickly.

Such a shame he built up his rep and then burned alot of people. I even defended him when everyone was wondering and attacking him early on about where the codes were from. Looks like it wasn't much longer after I got mine that codes stopped working and he would have to get a replacement sent but he was always making good.... The lil fucker!
