Throw down the ONE game you own that you doubt *any* other CAG has!

Don't know if it's been said or not yet, but The Adventures Of Darwin for PS2, which just came out about 6 months ago here. Like Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, it was originally a Japan Only game.

So yeah, that's the one I'm claiming:

The Adventures Of Darwin for PS2

Ok, this one's gonna be kinda weird. I have a copy of You Don't Know Jack Vol. 2 in german. I think it's Vol. 2... I don't have it in front of me to double check. Anyway, I got it for being part of a beta test back when You Don't Know Jack was a pretty big franchise. For the record, I don't speak german, but they just wanted testers that were familiar with the YDKJ engine.
oh shyt Arcade America?!?!

Arcade America! the best game in the univerrrrrrrrrse~!!

coming to stores in November! grrrrrrrrr~~!!!!
Hellz yea Arcade America!

I remember playing that on an old funky computer about 10 years back :p

Still got it lying around, I think I'll try and run it tomorrow ;O

Also, The Neverhood was one of the funniest and unique "graphical" games I have ever played.

I've got it. It's the worst game I own, even beating out Fugitive Hunter.

LOL It's bad huh? US version though, right, cause I know it was just brought here not even a year ago from Japan.

I heard it's like Pikmin, which I've never really played, but I wanted to try out.

On a related note from my earlier post, I must say again that navigating the menus in Fire Pro Wrestling Returns takes a bleepin' college degree with their menus and sub menus and sub headings and so on.

I haven't touched the game in about a week, since I created my monster female CAW in it.

PGR4...just kidding. To all the people with the really obscure games, are they more for your collections or do you actually enjoy them?

Well, I'd like to play some of the obscure ones, but usually when I find them, they're in shit condition so I don't pick em up.

As for the ones I have, I still haven't played REZ, which I swear I think I only bought because it was 'zomg sought after'.
3D Worldrunner for the NES? I have no idea of the commonality of this one, but I hadn't heard of it before I got it in an NES lot a few years back. Great game.

And botticus, did you do some bug-hunting for them on Lord of Magic?
I am kinda reading and replying as I go, but I have 3d world runner for the nes! good game for the times, I don't go back to the nes and play all that often unless I am kickin it with my Wii

Games I own that others might not... The 7th Saga on the Snes, Shining Force III for the Saturn and an uplayed mint copy of Earthbound on the Snes (I would say unopened but the box never came sealed and I opened it to make sure everything was there (even the sniffy cards in the guide (I never inhaled)).

edit: Damn! page 41, I am not going through all these!

Anyone else have Space Adventure for Sega CD? Wondering more to see what their opinion is than to "brag" about another obscure gem in my collection (I think my playable Kameo for Xbox will forever reign).

I have Space Adventure for Sega CD. Haven't played it though, so I don't have any opinions about it. But I'll play it later tonight and see what I think. I bought it for a buck a long time ago, and I forgot I even had it. That was part of my Sega CD haul of Dark Wizard, Dungeon Explorer, and Vay, all for $4.

I tried to read through this thing....made it 20+ pages and didn't see this game so I'm going to list it now...sorry if someone else already posted it:

Segagaga for the Dreamcast, a sweet RPG where you control a crew of programmers and you develop video games to help Sega Regain Market share.

Super fun, if only I had more knowledge of the Japanese language I could have alot more fun with it...should probably bust it out again ;) I have it complete with spine card, got it from Sega Direct.

Appears there are some up on ebay, if you want to give it a shot I highly recommend it!

As far as US games...Rise of the Dragon for Sega CD was always a favorite of mine, got it brand new at KB along with Snatcher, I think the total cost of them both was around $10 or so. Fun game where you are a detective investigating drug overdoses.

I also have some other games mentioned like Snatcher for the Sega CD, Policenauts Limited Edition for the PSX and "Mr. Nutz" for the SNES (not listed and probably not rare, but fun for kids!)

*Just to clarify those are not my auctions and I do not know anything about who is selling them...

King's Field for PSX - It's not rare but it was my second PSX game ever, I really wanted an RPG and in early 1996, it was my only choice.

I actually played it for awhile yesterday. I can't think of another game that has aged worse. It hurts my eyes.

That's an awesome deal! It's amazing the kind of bargains we used to be able to get. Rare = crap to a lot of people.

I have this and beat it. It's a poor man's Snatcher, but I still dug it. If Snatcher hadn't existed, it would've been revered.

Sonofabitch!!! I had one of those motherfuckers and my grandmom gave it to the dickhead who did a shoddy job building our new house for his kids. I had that and this Mario's Cement Factory mini game too. I used to love playing both and wish I still had them today.

I used to play that pacman game at my grandmas...it broke and my uncle threw it away. I loved that thing.

I had the Frogger one. I was pretty good at it. I have no idea where it is now. It probably got sold at a garage sale in 1992.

This talk of handheld games remind me of something else I have. I have one of those little handheld LCD games that's a Green Giant game. I've had it since I was a kid, so it's from sometime in the 80's. You play as Sprout, and you have to run around grabbing corn while avoiding the crows. If I can find it, I'll try and take a picture.
A Rescue 911 Pinball machine.

Not sure if it counts, but I'm guessing it's probably not a commonly owned game.
Always good to see more pinball owners here. I have a Whirlwind, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and World Cup Soccer 94. I used to also own a WWF WrestleFest arcade machine, but sold it to get funds for the WCS94...

I dont know if this has been posted, because I didnt feel like spending 20 mins. going through all the pages, but

Dark Stone-Ps1

Idk how rare this game is, but I still own it and its fun...very much like Diablo
killer instinct - snes

tez rare. But do you have the Killer cuts cd that goes with it? I listen to it everytime I impregnate my wife.
I have this:

transformers_front.jpg

Unless you're a huge Transformer nut don't bother. The game is horrible.
I wanted it for the longest time, then I saw how it played on YouTube and was immediately bored. It would've been better if the enemies you fought were all of the other Transformers and not just clones of 1-3 particular ones.

Plus, wtfh was with the kung fu moves(ala punching and kicking) with the Transformers in it? All I ever remember from the episodes was alot of gunplay, with the rare hand to hand battles between them.

THAT game was about the ONLY reason I was thinking of getting one of my PS2's modded, but after seeing gameplay for it, I changed my mind QUICK.

About the only other game I half considered chipping my PS2 for was a Super Smash Bros. type game with Optimus Prime, Snake from Metal Gear and a bunch of other characters in it.

I have it, and reviewed it for Game Informer back in the day. Decent game, and one of the first budget PSone games.

I got that, and I listen to it every time I impregnate your wife, too! I mean... I like it a lot, and probably got more use out of it than the SNES game. I used some of the songs in a high school video project I did where my girlfriend taped me doing taekwondo demonstrations. It fit well.
I have a Swordquest: Fireworld with the comic around here somewhere.
I have that! Actually, I have all three Swordquest games that were released, with their comics. I was always mad that Airworld never got made... Oh well.

You mean Dream Mix: TV World Fighters. I used to own it and it was par. Definatly not as good as Smash Bros. It also had Megatron, Simon Belmont, Bomberman, and Yuki from Bloady Roar. Remember it also came out for Gamecube.

What made Transformers Tetrakai so bad was the controls. Turning is way too slow, the gameplay was way to linear, and overall movement was slugish. You'll find yourself getting raped by 4 Ironhides cause you're taking forever to turn around and punch em'. I wouldn't have mind all the TF clones if the game played better. It's funny cause all the voice acting is in English and you have an option to make all the menus in English. It's very import friendly, too bad the game just sucks.

I had Darkstone and I liked the game, but back when I dumped off my collection of PS1 games to get into the PS2/Xbox gen, I dumped that off as well. Kinda sucks that I did that, since now I can't find a good condition copy for anything.

Quoted for truth!

despite the fact it was localized out of the box...Optimus Prime doing high kick has scarred my mind.
