Yes, but I'm talking about Matt Osborne. Whether or not it was him, I don't care, It brought back some awesome memories of Mr. Osborne.
Tonight he was played by Steve Lombardi, the Brooklyn Brawler.

Everything I do is preceded by me rubbing myself.
 @ missing DDP on RAW.

Would have loved to have seen that.
In hindsight, he has the most bland music ever. Imagine what it sounds like without DDP's voice overlayed on it. That song ought to be titled "dark match blues." It kinda adds to the conspiracy theories that he was deliberately buried while in WWE.

Let the speculation begin!!

(A GM spoiler for next week.. sort of. No specific names are mentioned)

Next Monday's WWE RAW General Manager is expected to be a big name who could only be brought in for one night. Next week's SmackDown General Manager will be decided by a battle royal on tonight's live Great American Bash special, leaving a GM spot open for Monday's RAW.

Also,

WWE officials are high on AJ Lee and feel that she is something like the next big thing.

I can get behind that push as long as they continue this angle. Loving every second she's on TV lately. It's been a while since I've said that regarding a diva. I haven't enjoyed watching a diva this much since Lita was around.

WCW music and him coming to the ring through the crowd would have made that 100 times better.
WCW music and him coming to the ring through the crowd would have made that 100 times better.
Sadly true, since his WCW music was just a Jimmy Hart rip-off of Smells Like Teen Spirit. When your theme song pales in comparison to *that*, it's bad.

Something else I didn't like about DDP's WCW theme: like his WWE theme, it starts off with his voice, but in this case, he says "Self High-Five." Which was one of his phrases, sure. But that phrase always sounded like a euphemism for masturbation to me, so I can't hear it without giggling.

See also: John Cena and the "Five Knuckle Shuffle." What a menacing name for a move.

Due to the wildfires, next week's Smackdown tapings in Colorado Springs. They're going to tape SD in Denver, right after Raw goes off the air.

WWE is also donating $10,000 to the American Red Cross to help with local relief efforts.

One night only and a big deal eh? Storyline is that all the GMs have been previous GMs. Anyone else thinking Donald Trump? He was the GM of Trump Raw and Vince has always had a hard on for The Donald.

Man, my dream about seeing DDP in current wrestling stuff kinda came true. He's still in shape, he could probably do more than just a diamond cutter if so inclined.

I'm a soothsayer!

WWE has apparently removed an offensive lyric from an entrance theme which trivializes the degenerative disorder Parkinson's disease.

The entrance theme for The Prime Time Players—Darren Young and Titus O'Neil—"Move (Get It In)" by Woo Child features the lyric: "Okay, I get it shaking like Parkinson's... I'm the one.. Break it down down til the party’s done." It would appear that WWE has cut out the mention of Parkinson's from the song's lyrics as it was inaudible during Young and O'Neil's appearances on Monday's Raw SuperShow and last week's WWE Superstars.

It's nice that WWE is sensitive to people who may be affected by this disease. Also,

Sounds plausible. I'd be down for a return of
Stephanie McMahon
. Watched a "Best Of" video last night and
she doesn't get enough credit for her personality. She cut better promos than most WWE talent today
.
She
makes Alberto del Rio appear more mediocre than usual

I don't know whether to  or :puke:.

Forgot to mention it earlier, and I know it has been covered but holy shit @ Heath Slater's tits.

Dude needs to cover them up. Or be made fun of on the air for having them.

One or the other, they're too prominent not to be addressed.

Test never got any shit about his nipples, so I doubt Heath Slater will get any shit about his b cups.

In a related note, Heath Slater's twitter pic is a shot of him holding The One Ring, but the thumbnail version makes it look like he's presenting his man-boobs.

As much as Cole is hated, he fits into the Smackdown commentary so nicely. His lines during the six man had me laughing pretty good. The best being "What a shock, break down in a six man."with no emotion to it at all. Don't know why but he had some funny lines during that six man tag. Speaking of, when was the last time there was a four team tag match?

Are the WWE drug tests assigned to talent at random? If so, I have some interest to how Heath Slater passes these tests when it's obvious he's on anabolic steroids. Hence his gynecomastia.

Slater serves as a reminder of that dude with milky man-tits in Fight Club.

meat_loafs_man_boobs.jpg

If this were Vince Russo's WWE, Slater would be en route to a transsexual angle with a returning Nicole Bass. (Slater becoming a woman and Bass optioning to be a man.) Chyna would manage.

Bitch-tits!

Yea WWEs drug policy is a joke when you have guys like Slater who are obviously using. When The Miz puts on 15 pounds of muscle in 2 years it is fairly obvious he is taking something. I would rather they all used steroids personally but for WWE to pretend to test everyone is just a joke. They seemingly just use their drug test to punish talent if needed.

The last PPV. Usos, Prime Time, Carlitos, and.... ummm... some other team. Kaientai, maybe?

Lost opportunity: Turn Yoshi heel, align him with Bloom, and bring back MVP as the mouthpiece and ditch Bloom's "servant." Never did understand why they didn't do more with MVP. Perhaps one of their best "homegrown" talents in the last decade.

TNA had Kazuchika Okada in his infancy while he was still a young lion in New Japan. TNA used him as Samoa Joe's sidekick. Nothing more than a supplementary "Kato" type role. Okada returns to New Japan, acquires a pretty bad-ass new look, and dethrones Hiroshi Tanahashi (who is New Japan's John Cena).

How's ROH doing? How are their numbers? They need a Spike TV type deal before they do anything meaningful. I read on a previous page that TNA has a working agreement with CHIKARA. I saw that TNA rebranded Jigsaw as "Rubix." TNA and WWE have just been horrible about names.

For example, Mister Williams pitched the idea of a stone cold killer to WWE creative. Originally, WWE wanted him to use the name "Chilly McFreeze." Thankfully, Williams spoke up against that dumb-ass name. Because, holy crap, "Chilly McFreeze."

I constantly forget Yoshi is still employed. Worst of all, I remember when he was actually a contender for the ECW title a few years back. With the expection of Christian (and I'm sure people will make cases for him also), everyone who was there towards the end have tanked. Actually, it reminds me of a pic I found a while back on Reddit. Most of these guys aren't with the company, most of the remaining aren't relevent and/or "in ring preformers", and then you have Christian. Yup....

Anyway, I don't know if anyone reads Botched Spot, but after going through some of the rece3nt ones, I came across this one. I though Myke would be amused.

Mick Foley's doing a comedy show at a bar like 5 minutes away...thinking about going, 27.50 w/ a meet and greet.
I guess WWE went after them on YouTube, but here's the 5-minute recap of Smackdown this week:

99% of anything Super Smackdown related was blocked on YouTube today. I was watching it late last night on someone's channel but parts 4 and onward were blocked. Went back to try previous ones and they were blocked too, so big brother is definitely watching.

On a side note, I see tons of potential in Sofia Cortez on NXT. She has improved a lot since Tough Enough.

News roundup!

The plan right now is to make AJ Lee one of the featured stars of the company - as a completely different but modern day version of a Sable or Miss Elizabeth.

News from the future: After AJ accidentally sneezed during her promo last night on Raw, she's reportedly in the doghouse. Sources say that she may be released soon.

People within WWE are openly stating that they think RAW will be back to two hours by January 2013. Even more are hoping that will be the case.

John Laurinaitis continues to lose some of his real-life duties with WWE. Pete Leone now has been given more responsibilities with talent relations. Triple H has not been a big proponent of Laurinaitis which is why he has lost a lot of his duties to people Triple H has hired.

The current plan for the WWE Network is to have every pay-per-view except WrestleMania be included. An alternate plan was all but two pay-per-views (WrestleMania and SummerSlam) being on the Network. WWE would continue offering pay-per-views like they always have to people whose cable companies don't have access to the Network or to people looking to buy just single events.

I would LOVE it if the Network included every PPV. I would definitely be in for that.

One of my favorite channels on Youtube belongs to "Ace Dagger" (another rejected SCSA name).

It's like Penny Arcade for wrestling, interesting.

Is it next week's SD that's being taped after Raw due to the fires? If so, what's with the excuse that the GM for Raw is so big they could only get them for one night? I'm hoping for Bob Barker, or barring that, Mike Adamle.

Pretty positive that it was Ice Dagger, not Ace Dagger. Although they are equally as bad.
