I was browsing through some WWE DVDs at Hastings for the hell of it and came across a "used" copy of ECW Unreleased Vol. 1 for $13.49 .. For that price, I'm in.

Halfway through the first DVD and I'm already glad I purchased it.

Noticed in the series of advertisements at the start that the WWE Network ad was lobbed in there. Did they abandon ship on the network idea already? Haven't heard a peep about it since they pushed some ads awhile back.

I've been tempted to go to those PWG things before, but I don't know any of the wrestlers there, so I've never gone. I don't think I could talk the GF into going with me, so I'd probably have to go alone. Are the tickets usually $30 for front row/$25 for GA? That doesn't seem to be too much. How often do they run shows?

I think they're usually $25/20 or $30/25 depending on the event. Shows are almost without fail monthly, though occasionally they've taken a month off or run two in one month. The venue is always a hot crowd and they tend to draw the occasional minor celeb (Billy Corgan and Steve O are regulars).
I didn't know Kevin Steen is a dual champion.
Yeah, thats actually really cool. I guess that says a lot about Steen both in and out of the ring.

Anyway, has TJ Perkins ever been in WWE? That name is really familiar to me but I've never been an indy guy.

He's been with ROH under his real name and TNA as Puma, but I don't believe he's done anything of note with WWE.

Thanks for the info, JJSP. I think I might take my dad to an event if I ever man up and go. I liked them on FB so I'll keep up with the announcements of shows through there. This Threemendous III show is only 10 miles away from my house, which would have been perfect if I didn't already have plans!

They're having more problems getting it off the ground than Fat Albert on a trampoline

I propose...
Less than 5 minutes of actual content wrestling thread :)
You act like this wasn't already known. RVD defended his contract against Shelton Benjamin, and Kennedy ended up losing his contract to Edge.
Your memory is much better than mine.

Someone's uploaded some ECW pre-shows (the half hour before the PPV) onto YouTube.. It may not seem like a big deal, but those are usually aired once and are never released commercially, so to see them is awesome.

Someone else uploaded some old Wrestling Challenge shows, too!
