To those who own a game store

I dont know the exact liscence fee...
I was just using $30 as an example of a game developers costs. I am just a retail god...havent tried my hand yet at publishing...maybe in a couple years. I have a couple ideas for games.

Actually, wouldn't the publisher have thier hand more in the distribution and marketing of a title, rather than any real power over the content?

If you had a couple ideas for games, that would be better suited to the development end of the business. I'm actually amazed when some of these fan made games ever release anything playable, because most of the people saying "oh this would be so cool" want the glory postions like the director,designer, or art director.. very few ever seem to want to handle the coding, development of the game engine... basically, the people without which a game that looks cool on paper stays on paper.

Some tell me it's probably the most difficult thing they've ever done while others tell me that after setup said:

just open a store, in a place where no other game stores are present. therefore, your consumer basis is large.
