The package weighed a ton. Surprised me when I opened it.
 
Can't say how good of a deal it was unless you tell us how much you paid for all of that.;)

Too bad you didn't get any of the more valuable guides though (Nocturne, Disgaea or Persona 3).

For free you can't go wrong. I've had about 2-4 of those guides and I still have the Disgaea dual guide that pennied about a month or two ago at GS.

I also had Disgaea 2's guide and the Castlevania one and lately I could've got my hands on a copy of Phantom Brave's guide, but I passed since the corners were all bent up on it.

Actually, I just looked at the guide I have and it covers Disgaea DS, the original Disgaea and some version for PSP as well. So it's a triple guide.

But for nothing, you got a steal.

Not gonna happen =P I own multiple copies of that game in various languages.
 
That Soul Nomad guide is one of the scarcer ones. I don't think Gamestop ever carried it, and they usually carry DJ guides.
 
Didn't Hardcore Gamer Magazine get sold on eBay? I didn't know they were still operating after that transition, let alone giving stacks of guides out to people.

wouldn't all versions of the game have all the languages since its PS3?
 
Man those DJ guides are so awesome. I like that I can display them right next to the game on my dvd shelf. I can never find a good place for those gigantic bradygames and prima guides
 
Sooo, yea, would like to get some of my own, but doesnt seem like that info is in here. Guess ill keep doing my own disgaea 3 strats... and replaying levels, lol.

They're definitely gutting games at my two of my GSes. The first one had the GameDay sale boxes out but they were empty. And there was no sign of any of the games I was interested in. The guy said they didn't have any copies of Valkyria Chronicles in stock... even though I checked the online locator only 45 minutes before they opened.

The second one I went to had 2 copies of Valkryia Chronicles sealed. I was able to pick one up and the guy was surprised about it because he didn't know it was on the GameDays sale.
 
WOW... the white rabbit out of the ass hmm... seems just like two assholes {sharing} time with each other. Hope being a dick or asshole is worth it cuz bragging really aint no kind of deal less you wanna share the info.
