How the funk did you get those at those prices? Did you steal them and leave $13 on the counter...?
 
i cant tell you how, because i got them at a local shop called the excahnge, its not like there are more of the same games just sitting around there ^^
 
Jesus Punqsux! I bought Alladin for Genesis complete for 2.50 there last week and thought I had a good find. What system did you get them for?!? I'm going to stop down tommorow if you can tell me how in the hell you got those prices! Are they marked on the case or do you know someone who works there? Help me out here man, I'm going out that way tommorow and it wouldn't be hard at all for me to stop in and spend a little loot!
 
dam i think theres an exchange here in miami..but id doubt theyd ever sell something that cheap....how the hell do they make money selling it for 2.50
 
u just have to be in the right place at the right time. i do have friends that work at the exchange downtown, and the exchange on carson, but ive never asked them to hold anything or get me a discount. im just ALWAYS around carson/downtown/mcnight so i always stop in and pick up stuff.

however i wont be in pittsburgh for the next 3 weeks, so you guys better get in on some of these deals im always getting!

also, it appears 007 is broken, all 3 games(ps2) were beat to fuck, but 007 only loads to the thx screen then freezes
 
But where to look? I'm only going to the one on McKnight. There they have everything except the old school games in the case. The prices in the case seemed a few dollars over where everyone else is selling them at. I'll go back in and take a better look around. They were redoing the store last time I was in, who knows what I'll come out with.
 
If they're all shaq-fued up, it might not be worth it...


UNLESS some of the games still have the warranty on them... Send EoN to EA and get teh repaired copy...?
 
im not sure who mook is. alot of people at the southside store are jerks. i know matt who works there, hes from buffalo too, i used to work with his band here when we were both in high school
 
Congrats on the finds, sucks about 007 not working though.

I got a used and complete copy of Midnight Club II for $5 a couple weeks ago at a music/game store in the area. It was scratched up, but Ive been playing it for hours with no problems. A few months ago, I got a complete GTA: Vice City there for $5. Scratched up, but again, works fine. However, they don't go down to $2.50 territory with PS2/Xbox/GC stuff, except for sports titles. Still, I've made some nice and cheap finds.

This doesn't surprise me. As we've discussed on this board before, The Exchange can be a great place for cheap finds. Not only do they base their prices on the amount of inventory they have in the store (often having many different prices for the same game or CD), but for games, they sometimes (Sq. Hill, but not downtown) have a shelf at the bottom of each platform category (PS2, GC, XBox) of games that are especially cheap due to their condition. I always check these games closely before buying them. They're good with returns, though.

Max Payne 2 for $2.50 is outstanding, though!
