I must be over exaggerating, because I have a degree in Business Management and work as an an accountant.
I never attacked their business model, i actually think it genius. But I do question their treatment of customers as morons. But if we, as consumers, continue to accept this treatment, then by all means they should continue to sell/buy/trade accordingly.
Again, it doesn't affect me at all, since I choose not to shop there. I have patience and can wait until I read on CAG that there's a sale or clearance of a game I've wanted at a retail store where I can purchase said game with the confidence I will get a NEW game at, more than likely, a cheaper price than the same game being sold as used(or "new") at Gamestop.
Too many consumers have the attitude "Well, it's the only place in town to trade a game" or "I could get a couple quick bucks for a game I don't play anymore" or "Gamestops the shop for Hardcore gamers."
I just think there's much better ways to eliminate a middle-man (Gamestop) that could care less about you or your gaming needs. All they care about is your money, like every company, but as an informed consumer I can choose where I will get the MOST for that money.
I agree. You must have been exaggerating.
Gamestop is going to be there until the mass public gets on CAG and starts trading here. Then again, I don't think I would want to trade on here with someone like the OP.
