Wow, is that "Walmart Edition" really a part of the cover art?

I also got an unmarked copy with Wal-Mart DLC included... :D

The real scary thing is I'm tempted to try the MP even though, having played the "beta" that was out like a week before the game launched (so its more demo than beta) that its got horrible issues...

Maybe I'm just a masochist when it comes to 3PS... (I play way too much Uncharted MP afterall. )
Yeah, pick-up service can be terrible at Walmart. I think one time I was stuck there in line a whole hour...
yeah, pickup is the worst there! It was my first time using Walmart pickup and it might be the last.

They only had one POS machine dedicated to pickup. The lady went through and opened every single package to confirm its contents which extended the visit for each and every person. I guess Walmart is cracking down on the box-of-rocks claims. And one of the guys in front of me decided to fill out his house apparently and bought like 30 items. Not only that, one of his packages was marked as available in the computers but it wasn't there. And another package was marked as unavailable but it was there. So they took another good 10 minutes trying to fix that.

Yes, the Walmart edition has the insert with the codes. Nothing on the external packaging says Walmart edition.

The campaign's a lot of fun. Controls took me a while to get. Some of them are definitely not intuitive. And the cover system kind of sucks compared to Gears. Sometimes it's easy to slide into cover like Gears but other times, it's tricky for some reason. And climbing over barriers isn't as easy.

Just got mine -- solid and fun game. I picked up GRAW pre-owned a while back from Gamestop but returned it because it was so bad. I thought I'd give this one a shot since it was released just last year. A much better game, IMHO.

Just picked mine up last night and while the box art does look exactly like the normal version, the BLUS has a "W" after the five-digit number (e.g., 30521W). That's how one can tell if the game is the Walmart edition or not--kind of like how Best Buy would have the "BB" in the BLUS for its special editions.
