Good call.  I literally didn't even know they were free on Steam itself and thought it was just a Square Enix Store promo.  I just went through the official promotion link and bought them on the Square Enix Store, but good to know.  Yeah.  Definitely a lot easier just getting them from Steam directly without having to deal with the Square Enix Store and their virtual waiting line.
