Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Limited ed. for 360 for $14.99 at gamefunk

Strange, I actually purchased this item off of their Amazon webstore two days ago for 15 bucks shipped in like new condition. Like new stated that it comes with everything that would come with the new game, and just isn't considered new because it isn't shrink wrapped. I can't believe how quickly this game is dropping, but it is understandable considering skate.'s quality. But for 15 bones, definitely worth a pick up.
whats the feedback on this site? I'm just wondering if its forreal or some overseas scam.
I believe a 96% positive feedback with over 10,000 sales. I believe that the owner also posts on this site now and then. Like I said, I bought it two days ago, and I received shipping confirmation today. Seems like a legit site.
Oh they are very legit. Check out the 60gb Playstation 3 thread. I bought mine from them.
That thread was the first time I heard of them. Then I saw them on Amazon, and saw the price for THPG. Had to pick it up.

just bought a copy off an Amazon seller for $15.49 + $3.99 shipping

Great Deal! This will be my first Tony Hawk game :/

Is this game even worth it? I played the demo (right after Skate, mind you) and I felt tortured...

Sometimes you can't trust demos though.

I ordered with them using an AmEx gift card and it said there was an error with my order. I went to go check my gift card balance and it said that it was charged:( I am waiting for a response now.

I felt the same way after playing the demo, but for 14 bucks shipped for me, it was a no brainer as I have played and beat every other Tony Hawk game. skate is definitely my favorite skateboarding game, but you can't beat the price for this.

Yeah I saw Proving Grounds at Target for like $15 on clearance but I passed it up. I'm on the hunt for Skate.

Tony Hawk peaked at 2, but was way downhill after 4. It's a shame, as I really liked 1-4.

A lot of people have been saying that this is the best one since TH3, which honestly seems like forever ago. I always thought TH2 was the best, but I really enjoyed the heck out of THP8. And like I have been saying in this thread, it is hard to pass up on a current gen game for 15 bucks, especially one like a Tony Hawk game.

But let me be honest, if you ever are face to face with skate for cheap, definitely pick it up.

I ordered a opened, like new copy of Guitar Hero 3 from this site and it was in perfect condition.

good deal, thanks op. in for one to keep my hawk collection up to date, now I just need Skate for this cheap.

I've always liked the Tony Hawk games but after playing the demo of this I'm not sure. I didn't like the slow motion trick thing when you were in the air. Any way to play without this "feature"?

Was looking around the website today and found this. Mind you that it's in "Like new" condition.
I just uploaded a bunch of those the other day and they're in fantastic condition. I'd say New but they're not in the original shrink wrap.

I was suprised we were pricing them so low too, but they're starting @ 17.55 on Amazon. And since we just launched our site, we usually like to price significantly lower than the lowest on Amazon.

IMO, Tony Hawk peaked at the first Underground. Great story, great gameplay. THP8 was pretty good also, but Underground 2, American Wasteland, and Proving Ground are weak.

Great game, my second favorite game of 2007. What pisses me off though is that Activision only made a limited edition version of the Xbox 360 version and not the PS3 version. And I refuse to play Tony Hawk games without the dual shock/sixaxis controllers. I believe the limited edition version has some behind the scenes stuff and it has a secret character already unlocked for you (the female guitarist in Guitar Hero III cover forgot her name), but shes unlockable on the normal version and PS3 version by entering a password.

Umm, I can't remember what else it had, but I'm such a big fan of the series and at that price I may as well buy the limited edition version and spend another 70 hours getting 100% through this game all over again... with that failure of a D-pad. Ugh.

the limited edition comes with a code to unlock Judy Nails from Guitar Hero III, a one year subscription to Transworld (skateboard magazine), and a behind the scenes DVD.

i've owned both the regular and special editions for the 360. if you have a choice, and there is no price difference, the special edition is alright, but the difference between the regular and special editions is so small, either version is good enough. the discs are exactly the same.

good game. awful voice acting and story, but the gameplay is solid. its more similar to the old THPS, than the last few games.

it's the exact same game, the special features are in dvd and magazine form. not worth buying twice.

Just picked up the sealed one from Amazon. Thanks for the information - I really enjoyed Project 8 so I'm sure I'll like this one, even if it isn't that groundbreaking of a game.

Got mine in today from GameFunk, it does look new, there is some tape I peeled off on the outer sleeve that I peeled off, but the manual, disc, magazine subscription, DVD, and case are all in perfect condition.

I definitely will buy from them again!

strange, haven't gotten it yet, and haven't even gotten shipping confirmation. did you guys who got it get confirmation, or did it just arive?

Yea, I got the same thing on the Limited Edition Sleeve. It's was the Xbox Seal thats on games.

I also got mine yesterday. Ordered on 2/21/08, received on 2/27/08. For those waiting, it should come pretty soon.
