OK, so the Xbox collection has gotten out of hand and I'm taking flak from wifey over it consuming what is SUPPOSED to be a bookshelf.

I am calling upon any CAG's to help me find a decent DVD cabinet that has a door to keep the dust off my prized game cases.

The cheaper the better...no need for a real fancy piece of furniture, which is all I seem to be finding in my hunt for one on the Web.

Can anyone point me to a link of a DVD cabinet (again, enclosed) that you have or have seen? Preferably under $100.

I know I heard about one at Best Buy last year, but it was being discontinued then and I could kick myself for not picking it up.

Any help from my fellow CAG community is much appreciated!!!

I haven't used that particular one myself but the site is good.

at circuit city, i bought a rotating stand that is extremely solid and an excellent space saver, it has 4 sides and holds 80 total games, no doors but really a great item, not sure if they still have it but i really love it, it was $40 if i recall

Thanks for the links, guys.

Target one sounds sweer but the link is dead...must be gone.

The one from racks and stands looks like a real contender, since I can put the TV on top of it also.

Anyone else with some links/models before I make the final decision?

put your games on shelves, and if you really want it to be dust proof, put em in ziplocs, or those vacuum bags, and keep a knife handy for those saverbags
Do what I do, put some of the games you won't play in a solid, cardboard box...:p
Nah....I love just looking at my massive collection too much to hide them away somewhere.

I know it sounds like alot of work, but I'd just build one. It's not really complicated and you can probably find someone you know with some know how if it is, but it will likely cost you about half the price you'd pay to buy one.

Nah, it's still there - the site upgrade kinda fudged up all the old links, though.

Kinda pricey when you add in tax and shipping, I guess, but it looks damned nice. I also found these two:

The second one's got free shipping, which makes it much more attractive.

heck, i'm needing more like a 500+ dvd cabinet with doors.. the baby is quickly becoming mobile and I've she's already pulled several off of my current shelves.. I've found a lot of things that might fit the bill, but I've yet to find a deal I'm 100% happy with, especially since I can't check out the quality before I buy something..

Go to OfficeMax or Office Depot and buy yourself a storage cabinet with shelves that you can place a lock on. It is the cheapest route to go especially if you are trying to spend like 100 to 150 bucks. Because it is metal and you can lock it it would be hard for someone to get inside of it. The only bad thing is that it isn't see through. I almost bought one for like 120 bucks but I just went the cheap route and bought a five shelf bookcase for like 30 bucks.

The second one may have free shipping, but it also has 3 customer reviews which all rate it as 1/5 stars. I'd say it's not attractive for that reason.

id get a zipper case to hold all the game discs and i'd store the boxes somewhere else.. thats the best way to keep the baby away from the games and the wife to stop complaining.. just a suggestion.
