Basically list which games you want on the Wii from Nintendo's catalog. Can't be announced games ala Animal Crossing or Mario Soccer.

Here are my choices...

1. Pikmin - Easy to understand that this is the best control system for this game. Simple point and click commands.

2. Punch Out - A return of a classic, people are saying WiiBoxing is not the best but I think it could be fleshed out more. Upgrade the graphics and adding a story mode where you have to train our character by doing exercises could be cool.

3. Yoshi's Island - Combining the paper hand drawn style of the 2D games but in 3D. Using the Wiimote to target your tounge and eggs.

1. Doki Doki Panic : I really miss this gametype and hope to see it again.

2. Punch out for sure.

3. Kid Icarus, even though I'm not obsessed with the hype. Now that they've already made the model for Smash Bros Brawl, they might as well.

1. Mario Kart--I can only hope they allow you to aim your weapons with the Wiimote, plus have a ton of courses like the DS version.

2. Donkey Kong--I think its time for another side-scrolling DK game.

3. Punch-out.

The title of this is very bad, Zelda and Mario are the top 2 Nintendo brands and they are annouced, some people will go "what the fuck?" You should make it "YOUR Top 3...."

Anyways here are mine....

F-Zero - I love GX even through it was one of the hardest games last generation.

Yoshi's Island - The first is one of the best games ever and I can't believe Nintendo hasn't used this franchise more.

Earthbound - I have never played the first three, sad I know, but Nintendo is really fucking stupid one it comes to these things. They took 15 years to release a "Wars" game, Advance Wars, and that was a huge hit. They took years to release Animal Crossing, also a huge hit. Nintendo needs to see that what they think won't sell most likely will and just release all the games everywhere.

Despite Nintendo swapping characters to create SMB2, I'd always hoped they'd make a sequel in the same style for that game. I loved the enemies from that game...

1. Earthbound. Earthbound Earthbound Earthbound. Earth-fuckyourmother-bound. But I don't know if I can put this on this list, as Itoi said he doesn't want to make another one. Which is kind of like saying you don't want to masturbate again, as the first three times were too much fun.

2. Kid Icarus. I just want see what a return of this series would be like.

3. Paper Mario. I know the platformer is headed to the Wii, but I want to see a proper PM sequel.

4. Luigi's Mansion. Please be in the works. I understand I'm one of the few people who liked this game, but still. Gimme.

5. Pilotwings. Though several flight sim games/demos have appeared, so I imagine some iteration of this is coming to the Wii.

Punch-Out and Pikmin are also notable exclusions, as Miyamoto talked quite a bit post-Wiimote-reveal that it would be perfect for Pikmin. Punch-Out is an absolute must at some point.

Games that will more than likely appear, so there's no reason to include them:
Mario Tennis
Mario Baseball
Mario Kart
F-Zero

Games that are not Nintendo, but need to appear:
Guitar Hero/Garage Band Hero
Okami 2 (Never happening)
Various adventure games (Sam & Max, Phoenix Wright)

Huh? Wasn't this announced a long long time ago?

EB has a listing 12/1/07 which is just a placeholder, but still, it exists.

OMG ..I agree with Strell...that almost never happens I loved luigis mansion I thought it was a nice chnge of pace besides the guy needed some limelight time he was "due".

Put me in the Luigi's Mansion line as well. I really liked that game.

Franchises that I would like to see continue on the Wii.

Pikmin
Punchout
Kid Icarus
F-Zero

There are others, but these are the tops of my list.

I'd love to see a Mario return to that formula, or a Subcon-based game. Perhaps not on Wii, but as the next handheld Mario? It'd be great to see the US Super Mario 2's existence/storyline become more 'legitimized' as part of the franchise despite its base as a non-Mario game, rather than being the strange off-shoot it is.

2. Punch out for sure.

3. Kid Icarus, even though I'm not obsessed with the hype. Now that they've already made the model for Smash Bros Brawl, they might as well.

Agree on these totally, too. These are definitely the most obvious choices. C'mon, Nintendo...

Have they announced Mario Sports versions of all the Wii Sports minigames yet? Those will definitely be great with "Wiimote control." You can't deny the potential of the controller for sports that use bats/clubs/rackets/sticks etc. They just need to put in a little more effort.

Mario Fishing
Mario Golf
Mario Tennis
Mario Baseball
Mario Boxing
Mario Soccer
Mario fucking
Mario Basketball
Mario Bowling

I'm sure they will all appear on the Wii

as long as they make part two harder and/or longer, I'm down.

Mark me down for Kid Icarus, Mario Kart & Pikmin as well.

1) Icarus- This could be Nintendo's answer to God of War. Imagine a kick ass grown up version of Icarus. He could have Kratos like moves, but could also fly. I think it would work well, but fans of the series may be dissapointed. I loved Kid Icarus back in the day, but I would really love a God of War style game using the Wiimote.

2) F-Zero: F-Zero online. Nuff said

3) Pikmin

The multiplayer potential is stupendous.

Chalk another win up for wangmotation.

I'd like it if we get a definite on something like Punchout being a dual wii mote game. I think the thing that gets people is the accelormeter in the wiimote is a little more technical than the one in the nunchuk.
Dual wii motes would solve that I suppose. Just make sure to assign 1 & 2 to L & R hands.

If they just port the stinkin' Mother and Earthbound for the VC, let us decide if it's worth updating the franchise. I'd think the development costs for VC games is SUPER low.

And the franchises I'd like to see updated?

Clu Clu Land.
Kung Fu.
Ice Hockey.

And... Donkey Kong Jr. Math.

Ice Hockey

The only update necessary is online play.

This is seriously the greatest hockey game ever made.

I guess someone could make it with nifty 3D graphics, but keep the gameplay completely intact.

A man can dream.

Ok, maybe you can add something like....shootouts use the Wiimote to set up your shots or something.

But keep the fat/normal/skinny guy routine. Best customization option ever.

Wait a minute strell....I just had an idea: a compilation with graphically-enhanced versions of some of Nintendo's relatively minor franchises that take advantage of the Wiimote. Ice Hockey, Balloon Fight, etc. would be included.
