Why are you lining up the ending of November with such garbage concerts, wahoo? :p
Because he has no friends!
Damn, that is a nice line-up. If you haven't seen Ted Leo before, you are in for a great show. Who are the openers for those shows, if you don't mind me asking?
Silversun Pickups - No openers listed
Andrew Bird - Glenn Kotche
Ted Leo - Kristeen Young, The Gang

I've seen Ted Leo three times before and each time he never ceases to impress me. Dude's so energetic.

You're my hero.

Aw... Kristeen Young opening for Ted Leo.
She was kicked off Morrissey's tour for her comments about him.

I have all the Galaxie 500 records but no Luna, been meaning to.

I think I'ma go ahead and pick up Rock Band too. I think I'ma just trade in Halo 3. :X
Got That Mass Effect.
Maybe you'll have sex in the game, and not be scared of it. ;)

Kristeen Young any good?

I liked her. She's alright.

It's just her on the keyboard, and her drummer.

She wears crazy clothes, and loves to screech. Also makes fun of the audience a lot.
Don't mention Morrissey.
ok, the Rev is obviously classic, so is Nashville Pussy.

have you seen HWIII before? because i thought he would suck BUT HE DOES NOT. HE fuckING KICKS ASS.
I haven't seen Nashville Pussy in years, since they opened up (along with Lexington, KY's Hookers) for Motorhead. This was when they had the original bass player (Casey?). They were decent, I guess. The stage antics were better than the music.

Or maybe Eyehategod opened for Motorhead. I can't remember anymore.

I've seen Hank III several times over the years, from when his country was pretty saccharine sweet, and he was a bit of a kid that listened to his label. That was back when Assjack was fronted by Hank (instead of the guy who does it now), and they were awful.

Since that first show (2001/2002?), Assjack has gone 180 degrees, and is more of a fantastic homage to AntiSeen and Pabst Blue Ribbon. The thing about Hank's show is that, when he's headlining, he's going to outlast you. He'll play for 3 1/2 hours, and you're fucking ruined tired, covered in beer and god knows what else...and then he'll play something like "Life of Sin" or "Pills I Took" that just bring you right back in.

I don't know if Assjack is on tap tonight, since the Rev is headlining. I've never seen them play a whole set live, though I've seen a few 30 minute sets from them at festivals and the like. They're incredible musicians, and I'm pretty excited about it.

As for the OTT band, I bought the software only for RB, so you may have to look elsewhere for a sang-er.

I listen to a lot of metal, but I absolutely hate the vocals. Which is why I keep it under wraps.

I love good guitar work and good drumming. A lot of metalheads are really scary, too. :p

Hmm. If she's a bitch, I'll start yelling about s'mores and shit.

I grew up on the stuff. Awesome guitar work can put me to sleep. :]

For the most part my musical taste lies in Hip-Hop, mostly instrumentals/beats though. Love me some good DJs.
A lot of metalheads are really scary, too. :p
I don't disagree at all.

I'm not a "metalhead." I tend to listen to a lot of that SneakyPenguin "I only listen to obscure stuff you'll never hear of" crap, though my car CD player has been preoccupied with the best of The Cult and Tegan and Sara's newest CD, FWIW.
Snowed today.

None of it stuck.

Lame.
It's still snowing up here. Some of it's starting to stick. Not enough to be let out early, though. I want to go home and play video games.

I'd have made today an early day but I have to interview this guy at 6 p.m.

Damnit.

Now do you have set hours or do you just have a list of stuff assigned to you and you can do it whenever?

It's a mix of both, depending on the day. Since there are things like council meetings and the like that happen at 7 p.m., sometimes my days get extra long or they start at noon or 1 p.m.

Kinda sucks, but I like it.
Spookymannn!
Spooky or not, I bet he still wakes up in the morning to the sound of his mother pouring him a bowl of "Cookie Crisp."

Spooky men eat spooky cereal.

Count Chocula is That Nigga when it comes to spooky things.

This spooky mcspookster even breathes fire!

Hmmm Beowulf or 30 Days of Night. That is a tough discision.

EDIT: 30 days of Night is no longer playing at my theatre. I guess Beowulf it is.

Council meetings. Sounds exciting  Don't they take minutes at those things that you can just copy off of later on?

Honey Combs, scariest cereal out there.

30 Days of Night was good. Don't know about Beowulf, though.

One of my pals said Beowulf was ''THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER!''

...then he told me they had smoked a philly packed w/ 2 and a half gs of White Widow.

Go with 30 days of night.

 Yeah, it can be rather dull. I could copy off the minutes but they don't get published by the clerk for a while and she doesn't really get the quotes that I look for, like the more interesting/controversial stuff.

I've had this damn cough for about 2 weeks now, I'm thinking I should start taking something... I feel fine, but its annoying as hell when I'm trying to talk to people.
