It seems to be a fan favourite.
Basically, this add-on/plug-in overlays ads on a website with its own. It's very non-intrusive, and the ads are pretty professional, so you don't have to worry about flashy ads (this month has mostly been ads with Pilot pens).
If you're worried about privacy, they DO track which websites you visit, but there's no personal data collection. This is just to make sure that you're not constantly visiting a single site with a dozen ads over and over again.
This is the purest passive earner there is. For every 1000 points (ads), you get $0.75 (for now; they're hinting this will go up). The minimum cashout is at $10, which can be achieved in about 2-3 months of surfing (so, it's not a huge earner, but it's something), without having any referrals. Also, for each referral you earn 5% of the points they earn. The money can be cashed out to PayPal, cheque, or donated to a selection of charities.

The only other site that I've had any success with is NatureBucks, which is dependent on useless newsletter signups, etc., but referrals really help here because they stack 5 deep. If anyone is interested in more details about this one, let me know.
