Toshiba HD-A3 (300/Bourne Identity inbox + 5 Free) $129 @ Tigerdirect

Tigerdirect isn't a bad site, but your right the CS sucks. Also, if you ever need to get rebates from them it's like pulling teeth
Is it really Bourne Ultimatum as one of the pack-ins...I though that was Bourne Identity.
Touche. Topic title edited.

That is quite tempting. Once this hits less than 100 I think I am going to grab a stand alone.

Thanks for posting the deal myke, and now I know I need to keep my eye on standalones (been waiting for the Warner fallout to start bringing down the prices on players and movies).

Decent deal but I've had bad experiences with Tigerdirect's CS just like other above have mentioned so I'm going to stay away from it. Thanks for posting the deal though.

Amazon just had a similar deal where it was $179 but you got 3 more free Blu-rays from them. Funny thing is that the deal had been 12 free then they changed it to 10 free. I would have picked it up for the 12 free if I caught it in time but now that I've read even more bad reviews for the A3 I'm going to wait until the HD titles I want come to BD.

Maybe Tiger Direct is trying to get rid of their stock before Toshiba calls is quits unless there is going to be an A4 soon.

well amazon is selling it for ~$140 tax deferred so that sounds like a good deal. This is the only way HD DVD can actually survive or extend it's life/the fight a littel longer; by finally lowering the price of the hardware to mass market price(which is $100-$150) I also saw that it's selling for $140 at circuitcity.com. Now if they could finally pass the low cost of producing the disc to consumers so we could have $14 HD-DVD disc I'd say Toshiba could be back in the game!!!

I am originally an HD-DVD supporter and I'm said to see what happened to Toshiba, but the last bit of what you're saying is hilarious. It is over.

I retract this statement

TigerDirect sucks...

I won't get into detail, but once again they've sent me a defective product (not the HD player, a computer part)

I had so much trouble with them last year and defective products, i decided to give them one last chance, and they blew it
