CAGiversary!
I couldn't believe the price when i saw it. this is one of the best lcd's you can get right now. IMO, it's only third in picture quality to Samsung and Sony. snag one up if you're in the market...:D

Google the model number. Seems to go for ~$1700 most everywhere so a pretty good deal apparently. Also seems to have pretty good feedback on the Amazon site. Especially enough to justify it at $1000.

is this in store only? how would my ps3 and 360 look and play on this thing?

if its 999 at my local costco instore ill bite....is this a limited time offer?
I went to the store today and the tv was a 37 inch. Disappointing.
i'm sure it was a 46". the 42" 1080p (42HL167) is $1199 online right now, which is Consumer Report's Best Buy 40-42" LCD right now. maybe it was a friday only deal. maybe i was mistaken. sorry if i was. i'll try to double check tomorrow.

Toshiba Regza and Sony Bravia are the best bang for your buck LCD's out there right now.

If my costco has this TV I'd gladly pawn my tv and take a hit for such an amazing model at an even more amazing price.

hey, yeah sorry. it was 37". but i was at the oceanside costco today and it's dropped $100. it's now $899, which is still a great deal for a "second to one" (sony) lcd hdtv. watching the tv's side by side you can definitely see sony has the crisper and better colored picture, but toshiba's not too far behind. personally, i'd spend the extra on the sony for the better picture, but the toshiba would look plenty good, especially without a sony next to it. the sony 32" lcd is $949, the 40" 1080p is $16??, and the 46" 1080p is $21??. they had some HD nature show on and the picture was awesome on all sizes. oh yeah, and costco has a 90 day return policy and a 2 year extended warranty standard with all tv's. anyone gonna buy one? :D
