anyone playing this yet? i got it last night and i think its pretty impressive. While its made by the makers of gt4, it plays a lot differently...feels like i'm on a bike.

anyone else peep it yet?
 
its actually pretty impressive. you can change sitting position on the bike and how you move on the bike. There's plenty of customization for your outfits. my guys has a more casual look, but you can make them look professional.

i havent done much with the bikes yet, but i know you can.
 
I have to say No Thanks, to this game, at least until its $10.

My #1 gripe with the Gran Turismo games was that there were only 6 cars on the track. Now they put out a motorcylce game and it only has FOUR bikes on the track at once? WTF???

Frikkin racing bikes all look the same, just different skins, theres no excuse for Polyphony Digital to have included DOUBLE the number of bikes at the minimum.

Have you ever seen a motorcycle race with only 4 bikes? Thats bullshit.

Whats next? A new GT game with only TWO cars??? :roll:
 
i was able to get it for $40 which i thought was a pretty good deal. im still not too good at it, but it usually takes me awhile with sim racers.

Hehehe, I guess that game kinda pissed me off! lol

I just dont see how they can only have 4 bikes!? When I saw screenshots for MOTO GP 3 that showed at least 12 bikes on the screen at once!
 
i guess the thing for me is I'm just trying to beat my times, so I guess having less bikes on the track is helpful to me. im sure if the game does well enough they will make a sequel for the ps3 that has the ability to put more cars on the track.
 
nice review. i'd disagree that gt4 is better because I love the technicality of the dual break system and just prefer bikes to cars.

how's the pay for doing reviews for yahoo?
 
Wow, I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but I am. This game is incredible. I've put at least 20 hours into it over the past few days. The controls are perfect, the bikes are amazingly and faithfully recreated, and the graphics are beyond belief. If anybody is STILL on the fence about buying, I highly recommend they drop the 40 bucks. It's well worth it.

That's a shitty-ass excuse not to play one of the, if not the, greatest racing game available.

I agree, four racers at a time may seem like a heinous injustice, but the tension you feel from battling an opponent for first place is unlike anything else I've ever experienced in a video game.
 
I love this game. Bought the 20 dollar import at play-asia and it is great. Although I agree that four riders on the track is pushing far too close to WTF territory. But, o well great game IMO.
