There was nothing about a $15 GC with Wii Party on ringup (with Rewards Card) or anywhere in the store.

The guy did confirm the B1G1 sale next week, though.

The problem with doing in store is not having the 20% coupon for orders over 75. And you can get a free 30 day trial to their free 2 day shipping service and use that for free shipping online - if it is anything like amazon prime in terms of cancellation as it says it is, I would bet you could easily cancel once your package ships.

The only hold up I have with this is not being able to do the deal with NBA 2k11 - I also want to do 3 1600 point cards, the free 2 day shipping along with 2k11 - seems like it would be a bit much for a CSR over the phone to handle - but maybe I'll go with another game and trade that one for 2k11 somewhere...either way, right now I'm looking at Halo Reach Legendary edition, a new, 60.00 game, 3 1600 point cards for 180 shipped (with MN state tax added already). Not bad, especially if I would spend that 2400 get 800 points free (which I would with ME2 content) - looking at halo reach, nba 2k11, and 5600 points for 180. Not a bad deal if they can do it over the phone...

Are those Power A controllers for the PS3 any good. The look WAAAAy better than the tiny PS3 DS3 and I love the positioning of the analog sticks. Do these still work after the PS3 firmware update that disabled the MadKatz PS3 controllers?

would a phone operator accept the F&F code over the phone? combined with the Reach legendary/free game promo. Is that like two promos?
 
I called customer service and they said they can do the order but I will pay full price in total and then get reimbursed for nba2k11after. Also she said that the I can't get the gift card since that can override other promos. Still debating if I should do it since I don't want to deal with them if I don't get reimbursed.

I went to 3 stores and none of them did the 2k11 gift card for the 360 They were nice about it and even did the reward zone card scan no dice. They even went to the website. I wound up upping to the legendary and got 2k11 for free. Annapolis Md toys r us had 1 or 2 legendarys left

Actually, unless there is an issue in shipping (or oddities like the first No More Heroes where my store got it weeks after the ship date) new releases tend to release on Tuesday. Like, NBA 2K11 for instance launched today as it should have everywhere else. (disregarding midnight launches obviously) Exceptions are things like PSMove which launched on a Friday and high profile Nintendo products which tend to hit on Sundays. (Wii Party being the most recent, for example)

Toys R Us tends to be good with big time releases but I remember during college and the last big b2g1 being burned on waiting for them to get a couple games in stock that weren't Halo or CoD level (Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 last year). Some places didn't have it until Thursday, others never got it at all and by then there was nothing of real note that I didn't already have. It could just be the areas I lived in but I'm iffy on waiting for TRU to have games in stock on launch.

Saw a couple people saying B1G1 above so I was wondering what the deal is.
 
I got reach legendary and DR2 for $144 shipped after the 20% coupon which is pretty great, but note that over at SD posters have been able to wrangle in free tshirts, free shipping, and even Amazon price matches, bringing their totals down to under $120... Don't think I'm allowed to post a link to that thread but it's easily found. For those of you willing to do a little digging it may pay off...

theres a shipping trial for 30 days-2 day delivery-this (obviously) knocks out the shipping thats like $14.

as for amazon price matching that be cool. going to try n check that out

Just came back from Toys R Us, no specials for NBA 2K11 for the PS3. Tried both with and without the rewards card.
 
I got halo legendary and reg halo(for a friend) from tru today, got to use an internet copy of the 20% off coupon, reg halo free, and got the t-shirt for reg halo came out to like $127.xx pretty good day i must say

Damn, Legendary is out of stock for shipping on the website. Would have been nice to get a free game and 20% off. Anyone think the 20% would work in store?

well, i struck out. one toys'r'us was out of stock. one toys'r'us did not exist. and the final toys'r'us was my favourite in which i was told that "there is no such thing as the legendary edition". mmm, sweet nourishing toys'r'us.
