toys r us - preorder question, mines says no preorders on the wii

i just called my toys r us salinas, CA the lady said they arn't doing preorders on the Wii at all and that they hadn't been informed as to when or if the PS3 would be available for preorder... was she just missinformed/stupid/clueless, or is it YMMV?

wanted to confirm the date to go order and that was the info i got, wtf? ideas, thoughts, others w/ similar responses from TRU?

i went to porter ranch,ca and they were ing oblivious saying preorders might start on nov.19...... the same day the thing comes out, and they might be doing ps3

I asked the TRU Dude yesterday and he said they will be getting a ton. He aslo said pre-orders will start on 10/29. There is a thread about this. We get all the info before TRU employees do.
